The Blueshift's expedition logs
-Fiery sky : Completely worth the trip but a challenge to get there. Amazing screenshots for the picture people. Accompanied by commander Jmoocow
-Impressive rings : Name doesn't lie. It's pretty impressive. You don't grasp the scale in pictures. Its one of the most easy trips to make, so perfect for a new explorer. Interesting system there as well for the astronomy nerds.
-Collection of wonders : An explorers dream! So much to see. Two black holes, 5 stars, two of the neutrons (Both ringed neutrons) The largest ringed object in the galaxy (yet found), landable planets, and like 20 gas giants all in the same system. If that isn't icentive enough for you to go 22k ly I dont know what is.
-Triple density : Its still denser then me. Its a great resarch site as the beacon puts it, and a vacation home as I put it. If you can be bothered to make it out there. 50k ly is a long trip even in the blueshift. Two neutrons, a black hole, and an earthlike are the main sites there.
- Warm colors : Frontier makes these names right? Because this one just sounds stupid. A 10k round trip gets you to a beautiful ringed planet with, as the name suggests, great colors.
- Celestial snowman/ black in green nebula/ Sag a : My first multiple destination expedition did not dissapoint. While I felt that black in green would be the only one worth the trip out on its own, combining it with other destinations made it easily worth the 50k ly round trip. I wont bother explaining the pretty veiws, just check out my screenshots and see for yourself!
-Below the galactic plane : While I didnt get very far under, (Only around 1.6k ly) I still enjoyed it. Its easy for a new player to do as well since you can just dive under the bubble for a bit, provided they have a decent range. Don't expect to see the entire galaxy though like the glory days of super neutron boosts, more like you can see between the bubble to the core.
-Neon lights/red and green glory : Its quite sad that the novelty of nebulas like these have been lost to me. They are quite nice though despite the slightly long trip. I will say neon lights isnt quite worth the trip on its own so plan for at least two or more destinations in the region.
-Bark mounds/ Nebulae view : A short trip to test things, but it still was not bad. Bark mounds were quite interesting and had a station to resupply and Nebulae view wasn't far. Not many nebulas there but definetly a interesting planet. With less then 4k ly round trip its a good trip for new explorers.
-The cats eye/Gandharvi/Clockwork rings: Bout time I remembered one, and it was a good one too. The cats eye had three black holes in a very interesting arrangement, gandharvi was a nice rest stop a thousand light years or so from colonia, and Clockwork rings gave some really nice planetary views. For clockwork you do get different views depending on the orbit so if you want the absolute best one you might have to time it right. Accompanied by commander SilentAssasin.
-The view/Celestial gem: A fantastic two stop expedition right next to the bubble. So many amazing sights that you'd normally have to go 10's of thousands of lightyears out to find. Probably what I would recommend to all new explorers. Accompanied by commander serratedlupin.
-Eye of fire/Strange Giant/Newtons Necropolis: Eye of fire is a gas giant with a very high axial tilt right next to a supermassive star, Strange giant is a ice giant within 150 ls from the main star, while Newtons Necropolis is a 10.66 g world surrounded by 12 stars. Overall quite unique for a seasoned explorer but nothing flashy for a newer player.

Want to follow my expeditions? Probaly not. Its just honking and jumping. If you are that kind of crazy though, I post screenshots of all my expeditions and anything interesting I find on the way.

Want to be even closer to the "action" and feel the radiation mutating your brain until nothing coherent comes out any more? Then join the crew of the INS Blueshift! There is always a seat availible for any commander that wants it. I wonder why? (Or you know, a wing... But that's even more crazy.)

I also mentor new players and give tips... If nessesary. Did I forget to mention that this whole time I've been talking about Elite Dangerous? Well I have, and so should you! If you like space I fully reccomend this game!
