It could've been fun, but even with today's technological advancements, it's sad to see such a great concept and execution go to waste just because of an "art style." This could've been a favorite, but watching a PowerPoint presentation of some pixels moving around at 0.5 FPS with zero animations is just disappointing.

If you play it, try to get as many endings as possible.

Edit: If you want to switch from a laggy server to a normal one (or you just get disconnected for no reason), good luck joining a server ever again.

AI never hits the drone. 10/10 Realism

I was really excited about this game’s concept—using real-world map data sounded awesome. However, the execution just isn’t there, especially not for 22€.

Pros:
• Cool Concept: The real-world integration is a neat idea.

Cons:
• Gamebreaking Bugs: Bugs everywhere. One even wrecked my save files without any warning.
• Lackluster Gameplay: Unbalanced, small maps, and the AI is just bad.
• Poor Translations: No easy way to switch them off.
• Graphics: They’re pretty rough, and the character avatars look like they were knocked up by a low-tier AI.
• Annoying Pop-ups: Constant interruptions that just get more annoying over time.

I ended up refunding the game. It might have been worth a look at 10€, but at full price? No way. Save your money until they sort out these issues.

It is INSANE how this is supposed to be Early Access. Early Access usually means it's finished by about 60 or 70%, but this game doesn't seem to be even 20% done. And 10% of those 20% went into the tutorial somehow...

As a KSP1 fan, I am deeply disappointed with what this has become. For 50€ you expect much more, even for an Early Access game.

The graphics are very below average, even with such high system requirements.
Please don't disappoint yourself and just don't buy this game. Instead buy KSP1 or wait a few years until there have been more updates. Private Divisions//Intercepts strategy should definitely not be supported at the moment.

Message to Private Division/Intercept: I am deeply disappointed in what you are releasing after supposedly THREE years of development. I hope you feel the negative feedback because this is definitely not acceptable!

UPDATE:
I've now made my first orbit flights and Mun landings. I can now confidently add another negative point to my review. It's extremely buggy too. Sometimes Hotkeys don't work or Thruster accelarate automatically on their own or Decouple at random. Without the Quicksave functionality it's completely unplayable. Weirdly the tutorial worked fine. Makes sense you get bombarded with notifications telling you to go play it on your first playthrough...

UPDATE 2:
Since the last Update I have tried to refund the game, but the request got denied... that's the way you treat your customers/fans?
Since I still have the game, I tried the first "big" patch. Long story short: it still sucks.
None of the improvements actually increases performance or removes game breaking bugs (at least not the ones I and many others have). The game is literally in the same state as before.
DO NOT BUY!

Love it.
Could have more survival elements tho.

Just another bad Squad remake. Even in Early Access, this isn't worth my time...
