I'm having a very problematic issue (I can't spend money on it yet)

Writing this review as someone who has played a lot of this game before the steam release, on PS4 where i got pretty much everything and previous on PC as well

I've seen other reviews stating the game has been gutted, and they are right, then game is a lot worse than it was before the reforged update which was prior to the awakening update. In the reforged update they nerfed everything to the ground, absolutely ruining the fun you could have (such as doing 25% of malkarion's health with a single axe throw).

The current issues are lack of customisation and locking you to specific weapons, if you were to improve the current system, make it so the special move could be equipped by other weapons of the same type and the legendary abilities being able to be equipped by any weapon.

Chucklefish please revisit and revamp this game, re-add all the removed content, make the world feel more alive and varied. This game had so much potential, and it never lived up to it.

Can you show why an internal error happens when joining a modded multiplayer game, so we know what mods are causing the errors

Anyway IMO i believe that Payday 3 has made some incredible changes, mostly to stealth and also removing stealth only heists, but i believe going loud should be more fun, either adding gadgets for loud, buffing guns or making more offensive skills would fix that issue.

Overkill weapons need to be powerful and have an impact, in other words the grenade launcher needs a buff. Speaking of overkill weapons I believe that the drop locations for it should be more focused around your objective and your current location, so it doesn't drop on the other side of the map, as this just inconveniences the player as they have to charge a meter, call the weapon, travel across the map for it and then it has very limited ammo + is dropped if you swap weapon, perhaps change this so if you aren't carrying a bag you holster it on your back? and you can drop it by pressing your bag throw button when your not carrying a bag or holding anything else that uses that key, but only when your holding it in your hands?

Also changing the leveling up mechanic to be less challenge based, have them give bonus exp and infamy points but not the only source.

Weapon mods need changes as some have just worse stats than others despite being unlocked later. They also need to have more of an impact IMO.

Also please bring back perk decks.

Story is good, DLC worth it for the move set changes, master rank and new/returning monsters. At times requires grinding but the game play offsets this. The collaborations with Final Fantasy, The Witcher and Devil May Cry add challenging quests but give amazing loot.
