This review is more about the "Arma 2: DayZ mod" than it is actually about the core game of Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead.

This is the game that got me into PC Gaming, I loved playing the DayZ: Mod and still do, it's THE best survival game in my opinion. Not only does the game feel great but the gameplay and atmousphere of the game remains uncontested by any other game out there to date. You do need to buy Arma 2 and Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead to play the DayZ Mod but it's well worth it, it's so fun to play and you'll get a lot of hours out of it.

Infestatoin: The NewZ isn't really much of a Zombie survival game as much as it is a PvP game, the game is really fun to play and runs really well. The skill gap is pretty big so it will take time to get good, the looting is fun and quick, inventory management is easy and if you die you can take things out of your "Global Inventory" (Basically an Item bank) It's not a perfect game and certainly needs work but it's not being neglected by the devs, it's a game that you should try, it's also FREE!

AdVenture Capitalist is a pretty fun little game, good for wasting time and staying distracted while you're bored.

I have no idea how rust is at the moment but the old rust (Legacy) was the best game to play for a while, it had skill based PvP, fun looting and an easy base-building system. I have played the new rust for a small amount of time a while back and thought it was just as good as legacy in its own way, it has the same rust feel but a new game feel too, the game ran pretty well back them, both on Legacy and New Rust. For anyone who likes survival games, this one is one of the best.

There's not really much more to say about this game, it's one of the best competitive games of all time, by far the best FPS.

One of my absolute favourite Single-Player Survival games. Subnautica has some truly amazing game mechanics and the most unique base-building and exploration/ progression. I will always recommend this game to anyone that loves survival, atmosphere and fun :)
