This is probably the best multiplayer horror FPS game I've played and it follows the early access model brilliantly.

after many hundreds of hours, I can plainly state my conclusion of this game: bad

A hard recommend. There is a catch, however. My first time through I was a bit dissatisfied, as I got the Shou ending, and it felt really rather unsatisfactory, no offense to the character, of course. The second and more recent time I may or may not have used a guide to assist me on how to complete the Kaori route, however I found that it was a lot more fun this time around for some reason--it had new bits of comedy that I enjoyed and some romance that didn't exist in the former route that I played to. So, the fact that I really enjoyed the new parts as well as am still able to appreciate the old parts, which wholly envelops the story, it's time for some minor things that annoyed me about it. There were a lot of times when the audio didn't match up with the text, and speaking of audio, it would be nice if there was a Japanese option, to make it feel more Japan-like, especially considering the fact that it's supposed to be occurring in Japan. The last bit about the audio is that something that also was often-occurring was the issue of it not playing the full and whole line to match up with the text. Sometimes things were out of order, and the tone of voice sometimes didn't fit the tone of the circumstance. Something that I do really like about this game is that it runs pretty well on older machines. Ordinarily I would be not using a Mid-2009 MacBook Pro, yet it still runs on it fairly well despite the circumstance, so that's something the developers have done really well. The only issues on this machine for the second run was that I had some crashing when loading saves. I don't know if it was the Mac being old and slow, or if it was a bug in the game. Regardless, it's probably fine, and is only due to that computer's computing power. Saying all this, it might be important to note that I got this game on sale, so not free, but certainly not full price. I must've bought it at least a year ago now, because I didn't remember if I had gotten it for free or if I had paid for it, so I searched my inbox for the Steam confirmation email, and there it was! I purchased it at 4.99 USD, 75% off the original price. Conclusively, and in one sentence, this is worth a play. Just try to get the "good ending" the first run through. Though that's probably tantamount to saying "find the good life," unless you're using a guide. This game also makes me excited for playing the new VN that came out, following ACE in the Kaori route, and seeing that so many of the reviews are positive, I'm bursting to see what content it holds after the most recent experience.

9/10. This game, in my opinion, was very well made. My first-time experiences of the main game and DLC were amazing. However, there are a few things that could use improvement. In the DLC, the ending seemed slightly rushed, as if hurried through a bit in order to hit a deadline. I would still strongly recommend playing this game yourself even if you have seen a playthrough or recommending it to a friend who hasn't seen anything of this game before.
