Idk, it just doesn't sound very entertaining. Choices are kinda illogical, girl didn't really seem interested in the protagonist at first and so I did in all the sent texts, then i just selected a funny one and everything changed.
Still avoided some of them, got bored and shorts texts, lefts, and I got the good ending (lol?).

Plain simple in the interface. You do have nothing but a square jumping around to read, send and choose messages. Wouldn't have mind some color choiches, friends list to talk to and other background images (it's the thing that just pops out entirely, this one looks pretty but already boring after a while).
Might be a platform, but still can have more things to make it more entertaining (take Emily is Away for example), it's always an IM sim adventure game.

Also there are no sounds other than sent or read ones, and an unappopriate background one (which sounds a bit unnerving) in some different situations.

Nella sua semplicità, "Meteor 60 Seconds!" è un gioco 2D pienamente godibile. A chi non verrebbe già voglia di iniziare a pestare chiunque la prima volta che ci giochi?
Avrete un minuto esatto per decidere cosa fare prima che la terra esploda a causa di un impatto con un metorite. Le vostre azioni vi porteranno a molteplici finali, i quali rendono il gioco ancor più esilarante!

Ho finito questo gioco in poco meno di un'ora, e ho adorato ogni singolo finale che ho ottenuto. Se cercate qualcosa di rapido e semplice, avete trovato il gioco che fa per voi.

"Her Lie I Tried To Believe"
Una Visual Novel che vede come protagonista un ragazzo di nome Tim. Per tutta la sua vita, il protagonista è sempre stato guidato dall'ego e l'odio nei confronti di una ragazza che conosce sin dall'elementari. Cassandra, la ragazza in questione, è bella, talentuosa e non ha paura di affrontare il protagonista in determinate situazioni.

La storia segue fino ad un finale che lascia il giocatore di stucco. Personalmente, mi ha lasciato un po' "meh", poiché a giudicare dai personaggi, da come si evolvono nel corso della storia e come si evolve la storia stessa, una parte di me si sarebbe aspettato le vicende dell'ultime capitolo, eppure ritengo che un finale degno sarebbe stato un altro.

U.I. semplice ma carina, background art sufficienti, forse troppi monologhi, ma credo che un'introspezione del personaggio per questo tipo di storia ci sta. Mancanza di ogni tipo di interazione, eppure abbastanza compensata dalla narrazione intrigante.

Consiglio questo gioco? Onestamente mi sentivo più no che sì, ma a conti fatti direi a stento.

Gioco non adatto alle persone facilmente suscettibili, deboli di cuore e/o moraliste.

Il gioco più orrendo, osceno e controverso a cui io abbia mai giocato. Se si parte già con il fatto che puoi andare a urinare addosso alla gente che poi ti vomiterà contro, su questo gioco vi capiterà tutto lo schifo che potreste mai immaginare.

Ed è questo che lo rende unico nel suo genere!

Impersonerete un uomo tanto simpatico quanto brutale chiamato Postal Dude, con il quale vivrete per 5 giorni (o una settimana intera con il dlc, che vi consiglio di avere per godervi l'intera storia) andando in giro a svolgere degli incarichi per conto della moglie. Per ogni singolo incarico, sarà meglio che vi guardiate le spalle! Vi ritroverete a che fare con diverse fazioni e guai di ogni tipo.

Pro:

• Trama semplice ma nello svolgimento sorprendente
  
• Ampia varietà di armi
  
• Buon comparto audio
  
• Effetti cruenti ben dettagliati

Contro:

• Caricamenti da un punto all'altro della mappa. Potrebbe non essere tanto un difetto per alcuni, e si considera comunque che all'epoca era tipico per alcuni giochi caricarsi a spezzoni a causa dei limiti di memoria.
  
• Qualche problema di ottimizzazione per i nuovi OS. Mi è capitato alcune volte di riscontrare uno stuttering insolito durante le sparatorie.

Ho finito il gioco in modalità aggressive e né sono rimasto davvero soddisfatto!
Voglio dare un bel 9/10 a questo capolavoro, great job RWS.

"I regret nothing."

Io non riesco a comprendere come un gioco del genere possa essere recensito così positivamente. Ci ho giocato pochissimo, ma che cambia? È bastato per conoscere e capire i suoi limiti.

Paunch consiste in un duello 1 vs 1 il cui matchmaking è praticamente casuale, trovi il primo avversario disponibile e sei già in game.
Appena in gioco, tu e il tuo avversario dovete tirarvi le manate addosso oppure buttarvi delle rocce addosso, con la precisione che manco un cieco avrebbe. Di conseguenza, si finisce in un semi-loop di corse attorno al campo per cercare di colpirsi a vicenda, e la partita diventa subito pallosa e frustrante per i colpi mancati.

+ Grafica semplice considerati gli standard moderni, seppur gradita.

- Troppo limitato e ripetitivo
- Sistema di combattimento frustrante e dopo un po' noioso
- Matchmaking banale

È un gioco che parte da una base interessante, ma che potrebbe essere più divertente con più oggetti e modalità di gioco. Sicuramente sotto certi aspetti è ancora da migliorare.

Per ora lo sconsiglio.

Mid-to-late 2000's, Web 2.0 era.
The internet was gaining a lot of popularity, Youtube was a new thing, the possibility to share and see all types of videos with people around the world got the attention of many users, marking the beginning of one the most famous and used platform of the web till today. Same case was for IM (though AIM and MSN Messenger were still famous, till they got shadowed by IM Apps and Social Media with built-in chat in the early 2010's, losing their usage and popularity and leading to their shutdown later on) and Social Media like, and mostly, Facebook. Fansites, Forums and blogs were still a thing. Browser games with shockwave and Flash technologies, and MMO's rocked hard.

Generally speaking, Emily is Away Franchise is a trip to the past. A reminiscing of simpler and cooler times of the internet, where privacy and data where much more preserved and the World Wide Web was much more explored. You'd get access on it mostly if not only from your computer. It was great, and nostalgic.

Emily is Away Too still sets in the AIM interface like its predecessor, where you play as a Teen in his/her High School Senior Year. The story is divided in 5 chapter, in which your answers to just some specific questions will dictate whether you'll get a good ending or not. Point is, the question themselves, and the fact that just you just make one mistake makes it a bit bland and excessive, but i'm not going to dive in about it later.
The player has to talk with 2 girls, Emily (already seen in the first installment) and Evelyn, respectively a Casual and bit shy girl with tastes for alt rock music, and a Punk rebellious girl who's very outgoing. Throughout the story, the player will get to know better and develop the relationship with the girls, just like any type of dating sim. He/She can respond to every message receveid during the conversation, with 3 type of different responses anytime that quite characterize his/her personality.
You can choose the screenname, the character name, a set of profile pictures for every chapter that includes all the trendy games, movies, tv show, musical band and memes of any specific periods, along with a selection of quotes in the profile info and the customization of text and background colors. You also get the chance, at the beginning of the game, to choose one of three most iconic Windows XP wallpapers to set as your destop background.
It's not the only thing that makes the game very immersive and nostalgic, because you also get to see parody sites of Youtube and Facebook through links given in the chat with the girls.

Now for the Con, which contains Spoiler:
The Bad Ending is known to not make sense at all, since the reasons for getting it are a bit bland and excessive.
It is triggered if you at least give one different responses to the girls question about musical taste, life ambition or experience. Emily or Evely, depending on who you chose as girlfriend or bestfriend, will call you out in chapter 5 saying that you are a liar and a manipulator, and this gives a sad ending with the chosen girl breaking up with the player. So to get the good ending, the player has to give the same exact responses to the girls (it can be noticed what question are relevant when, after you responded them, you'll get "Emily/Evelyn will remember that" between the chat and text input boxes)
Another cons is the infamous Chapter 3 typing speed challenge, which i think does not give the player a way to better experience a crucial moment of the story, built with a lot of feeling and emotions. While it can be fun and I understand the purpose, I think that leaving just reponses to develop the relationships between you and girls would have been a better choice.


This is where the review ends. I recommend this game like I did in my first playthroughs years ago, despite the ways of which ending can be reached which i really didn't appreciate at all. Story, setting and customization makes the game quite immersive.

To me is a 7/10.

OLD REVIEW:
The sequel of "Emily is Away"
It's longer and has multiple endings, and also recalls the old times of internet, with all those legendary memes.
You can choose to talk with Emily and Evelyn at the same time, and what you'll decide will have consequences in the future.


I would reccomend this to someone who's looking for a very emotional and nostalgic game :)

Emily is Away

Semplice, bello e nostalgico per il buon vecchio XP e Msn, ma deprimente per i suoi finali che avranno sempre la stessa sorte, in base alle proprie risposte ed impersonazione, sia che facciate il romantico, il bravo ragazzo o lo stronzo di turno.

I contro? Direi la sola possibilità di poter parlare con Emily. Sarebbe stato bello poter chattare con gli altri personaggi primari della storia, cosicché si potessero cambiare gli eventi nel corso del gioco, ma anche con alcuni personaggi secondari (Ad esempio quelli già aggiunti come amici nell'account) con cui divertirsi.

A very easy and relaxing game bought it at only 0,19 cent ;)

Uno dei pochi Free to play su Steam da giocare.
Ancora in beta, questo gioco è in grado di favorirvi un divertimento assicurato, soprattutto con gli amici.
A differenza di Minecraft (almeno secondo me), questo arriva a livelli di personalizzazione unici (basta notare i carri armati e i droni degli altri giocatori, eccetto quelli a forma di pene...lol.), contando che ci sono più forme geometriche quali:
-Classici Cubi.
-Tetra
-Prisma
-inner
Forse per alcuni, l'unica pecca sono le poche mappe e una sola modalità, ma comunque sarà un gioco che, di sicuro, vi prenderà molto (contando che non è ancora un ''pay 2 win'' e che, si spera, non lo diventi).
