The DLC is mostly fine.
The map is beautiful and most new enemies are fun to fight.
I like many of the new additions in weapons and some of the new NPCs are really cool (Igon and Ansbach are awesome).

The difficulty is not as "too much" as many describe it and I don't think the buff to the Scadutree Fragments was needed - the people are just whiny as heck.
I still despise the whole spirit summoning mechanic, criticize it's implementation and don't use it accordingly, but the bosses and areas were all fun and engaging.

As beautiful as the different areas are I sadly met the big nothing quite often and I was pretty mad every time I rode to the edges of the map just to pick up the next useless Grave Glovewort.

I got my share of Souls PvP in most games and also in Elden Ring, but one of the later NPC fights is one of the most frustrating video game experiences I ever had to this point and I honestly don't know if I wanna replay the DLC just because this fight exists and it's not optional.
People who already played the DLC will know which I'm talkin' about.
I have to fight outnumbered (which is fine in a vacuum), the enemies have 10k-14k hp each (which is also fine in a vacuum) and their flask sip heals them each near to half their max hp, so their effective hp is a lot.
The combination of these and the fact that they were able to 3 shot me consistently with 2 of them attacking simultaneously since they stagger lock me to death was not enjoyable at all.
And I don't even want to begin about the rot pots.
Honestly, you can't be serious with this gankfest of a fight, Fromsoft ..
Give me fair grounds in this fight and I'll probably enjoy it since its concept is really cool.
But as it stands, this fight is by far my biggest problem with the whole DLC.

I'm okay with the rest of the content, even with some of the weird story decisions, but nevermind that.
I don't regret paying 40 bucks for the DLC, but I'd rather have paid 30 for it tbh.

For reference if interested:
- I played the whole DLC on RL 150 (because PvP level)
- I was able to find enough Scadutree Fragments to get the blessing to 19
- Pure Dex build, used only Knight's GS, Milady, Misercordé and Buckler

I won't recommend the DLC as long as the performance is as bad as it is.
Start optimizing your stuff ffs

I also play League of Legends and Bungie is the one company I consider even worse than Riot.

Let that sink in.
Don't bother with this.

ART!

.. that's just what Ori and the Blind Forest is.

You're playing Ori, a peaceful feline being in a world with beautiful and rather dark sides.
While playing Ori you will experience an enthralling story with emotional ups and downs.
Ori's world and its sorrowful story doesn't need dialog or characters, it is told by the world itself and Ori's interactions with it.
And this is a fantastic way to tell about it in my opinion, 'cause Ori and the Blind Forest does it so great.

This game overwhelmed me with its fantastic look in so many different perspectives.
All you do see is painted differently so you won't be able to find any tree twice.
Alone this ornate kind of work is something you don't see often in videogames.
Ori and the Blind Forest is trying so hard to be uniquely beautiful - and well, it definitely is.

If someone would ever ask me what my favorite soundtrack for a videogame is, I wouldn't need any long to think about it.
Yeah, this soundtrack of course.
I remember the first time I took a hear while playing this game - I was heartfully touched.
I can't deny, I was literally sitting in my room and began to fall in tears.
This in combination with the heartbreaking intro to this fantastic game was one of the most emotional moments I ever had with a videogame and I surely will never forget about it.

Ori and the Blind Forest is the prove that childish looking games can still be a fantastic experience for older people.
If you're looking for a Side-Scroller a là Metroidvania, a beautiful & emotional story and an absolute phenomenal appereance, Ori and the Blind Forest will not be able to disappoint you.
As I said, it's Art.

This is the badest DLC of all for this awesome game, it's promotion for Borderlands 3 and after most people got this DLC for free Gearbox want fckn 15 bucks for it, what's way to much.
The gags in The Fight for Sanctuary are wack, it's something around 3 hours playtime only and the best new content about this is the Lvl cap of 80.
It's worth maybe 5$ but definitely not more than that.
This is the biggest joke u did for this game, Gearbox.

Pure awesomness.
I had way more fun with this game as I expected - and I expected a lot.
The mechanics are very smooth and good to handle, the combat system is really rewarding and all in all does it just feel great to swing Kusabimaru through your enemys.
Its not the same as Dark Souls but u still feel the breeze of it in this game.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is really beautiful and the japanese voice acting is definitely a + for it.

If u had a lot of fun with Dark Souls and ure open to fast and difficult close combat games, u will probably have fun with this game as well.
I absolutely recommend it!

WELCOME TO THE SOLAR REDOUT RACING LEAGUE

and its awesome Anti Gravity Racer named Redout.

Redout is acceleration, speed, boost & adrenaline.
You might know F-Zero from Nintendo or maybe even WipeOut isn't unfamiliar to you - Redout is in no way inferior to them when it belongs to pure gameplay of an AG Racer.
More than that does it feels like F-Zero and WipeOut had a baby with most of the best parts from both games.

Do u know this scene from "Hackers" (1995)?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATlszssL-eI

Well, this is kinda that game.
Flying one of the ships in Redout can be pretty difficult 'cause you don't only have to steer it.
Your right joystick is needed for fundamental mechanics (Strafing & Pitching) and it works great.
The feeling for speed while you have to handle both sticks so you lose as less as possible of it is absolutely insane.
This game looks beautiful and it is polished in a fantastic way.
Besides of that got Redout a high quality produced soundtrack which works dynamically to the action ingame and it is totally on point in most cases.
It sounds just great together with the ingame sound effects.

All in all is Redout one of the best AG Racers we have to this date and it deserves way more attention than it actually gets.
It's perfect to do some high speed races with friends or for competing with the best players on steam in time attack races.
The community is still relative active and at least once a week you can meet other players on the official Discord server to challenge them.
If you had fun with WipeOut or F-Zero for their gameplay, I promise you, you gonna miss something if you don't plan to give this game a chance.
