There's other reviews that could go into more detail, but what I'll say is that this game has been that one game that you keep coming back to over and over again. The game has the most variety of any Total War game and acts as the perfect gateway drug to both the Warhammer universe and Total War games. This game pulls you in time and time again to the same extent that Skyrim or Minecraft would. Pressing the end turn button is like turning the page on the book, and this game is a real page turner.

Yes, you need the first game to play this, because this essentially merges the first game's map with the second game's map.
This is not complicated, many of you are simply stupid. This page says this multiple times. Some of the reviews here seem to claim that they've been scammed or that their time and their bandwidth (woe is them) have been wasted, which I find laughable.
This is why I always recommend people to buy Warhammer I first and play that, and if they enjoy it and are looking for more, they can get Warhammer II, and if they own both, of course, download this DLC.
I can't wait for the swaths of reviews on Warhammer III's equivalent to this saying how they have once again been scammed by CA.
But of course, it's CA's fault for not catering to the illiterate.

You can try to resist getting into Warhammer, but no one can forever.

The game has a major gamebreaking bug a few minutes into it in the PC port that some players with higher end rigs experience, which I assume is most players (including me). You can apparently fix it by disabling VSync in game and then forcing it on in your Nvidia/AMD control panel, but for me, Nvidia Geforce Experience wouldn't detect Dead Space as a game, and so I couldn't.
The major upside is that the bug occurs very early, so you'll almost certainly be able to refund it if it turns out that you do in fact experience it.

One other thing I've heard is that the game is better on Xbox 360, as some players experience weird input lag with their mouse, and of course the Xbox 360 version doesn't have any gamebreaking bugs. 360 games are also old enough that they're very cheap, but not quite old enough to the point where Disc Rot has made them rare and expensive. Get it on console while you can.

I'm more disappointed than frustrated, since I really wanted to experience Dead Space on PC, given that it's one of those "classic" 7th generation era games, but oh well.
