Talisman is a unique table top board game that consists of dungeon crawling, looting, PVE and PVP. You may select a character of your choice (More in DLCS) which each have their very own set of passive and/or non-passive abilities allowing you to play your way.

The game is simple. Roll the die on your turn and move that number of spaces. Most spaces on the board have rules/choices or a set of options that you can choose from. These descriptions can either benefit you or kill you or do nothing at all.

Your goal is to move around the board and gain as much stats as you can to get to the middle. There, you will have control of the board to win the game

SUMMARY

Enter the small town of Bellville for a challenging, fright filled mission to help save the people from a menacing witch that is terrorizing the woods nearby. Collect gold and valuable items to trade for an exchange of weaponry and crucifixes to help you take down evils that are lurking within the trees. Use your items wisely or wind up lost while the dead hunt for you. Slowly unravel a much deeper, darker story as you progress through a number of challenges (bosses) to help save the poor horrified people of Bellville.

FIRST IMPRESSION

I'll admit, I thought this was going to be an ordinary horror indie game. It is much better than that. Even though Witch Hunt isn't story rich, it does however provide a very challenging way of playing. You must conserve the ammunition that you have and make the decision to use your ammo to kill the grunts or to try and escape and use them on much bigger and dangerous evils. You are provided with a map which will help you traverse the dark woods while being able to keep track of where you were and where you are. This is important to know so you don't run into any unnecessary enemies.
There are a few chapters to go through. At the end of each boss kill, the town and people may change. A new challenge will be given to you to complete and the residents of Bellville will try there best to give you the items that will help you on your quest. You will discover some disturbing things that act as landmarks, and may find useful items around the location.
You must play carefully with a strategic way of making your way through the woods or you may end up with a terrifying fatal surprise. That being said, I recommend headphones. Sound will be your best friend in these woods.

MY THOUGHTS

I love this game. For how small it may be it's challenging enough to get more for what you paid for. The graphics are good enough to make the "monsters" and scenery scary enough to keep you on edge. The looks of the creatures and the undead alone may make your skin crawl.

MY RATING

My rating for Witch Hunt will have to be
6.5/10
. Based on every factor, this game is great for a horror fan. There are some cons ill go over now. Even though this game has good visuals and sound effects and over all a good difficult but fair challenges, I found myself using a guide on steam most of the time. Mainly for the map, so I know where to go and where I have been. You need to visit different parts of the map in order to find gold so you may have enough to buy ammunition. I haven't, but i believe its very possible to run out of ammo and gold, and you'll be left exploring the woods for hours just to find a small amount of gold. That aside, the animations and movements of the residents in Bellville aren't horrible, but definitely low quality. Enough to break the immersion.

I hope you found this review helpful. I recommend this game to anyone that up for a spooky challenge. Especially horror fans!

SCUM

SUMMARY

Create your inmate by customizing his appearance. Most of the options given to you will greatly affect the way your character does things. Age, weight, muscle build, addictions, ect. will give you an array of flaws and problematic obstacles you must overcome whilst fending for your life against scarce rogue zombies and other lurking inmate players. Traverse through fields and woods to find what once was a populated town or city to search abandoned homes and buildings. Gather what you can to eat and craft weapons to defend yourself against the undead and greedy inmates. Watch what you eat, everything you put into your body matters. Keep track of all the vitamins and minerals your body needs in order to keep yourself in tip top shape to have endurance to flee from an event or to have the aim or stamina to defeat your opponent in combat. Make sure to exercise regularly and to check up on your health, even one hit can leave you bleeding. The struggle to survive has never been more in depth!

FIRST IMPRESSION

My first impression was of course the amazing graphics. The first thing you see when you begin to play is the character customization. The character customization is the perfect scene to open to the game. It gives you so many options and every little change to your character allows you to see how it affects him by giving you very accurate statistics on everything.
Once I started playing, I knew the first thing I had to do was get a weapon then food. In order for me to get either of those, was to look in the crafting section to see what was available. Unfortunately navigating and understanding the UI or the menu system is very cluttered and hard to understand and in my opinion is not user friendly. Some of the controls are unique and very different from the majority of other survival games, however they were helpful and helped out a lot, Example - increasing and decreasing your movement speed using the mouse wheel instead of holding shift. It allowed for a lot more control of you character and is a great tool because of the sound radius your inmate creates while moving.

MY THOUGHTS

SCUM is one of the most unique survival games I have ever played, however I'll give you a game to compare it to. It's very much like Day z or Arma 3 because of the way it feels and the options you get along with the usefulness you get from the crafting and the entire menu system. There is still a lot to be desired in this game. A lot of the times when I'm looting houses, its very hard to see every piece of loot so I open my inventory (pressing tab) so I can see what's laying around in my vicinity. Most of the things you can craft have their own materials to be used to craft them. It's a problem because you only have so much inventory space and you need 6 things to make 1 thing and you only have around 8 spaces so you must commit and only pick up the things you will need to craft with. It's not a bad thing, but it takes to long to find these materials that by the time you finally craft the item you need, you are already In desperate need of another item.
I love how the zombies move in this game. They are very slow until disturbed, then they sprint towards you. Battling the undead is not easy, especially when you're weak or bad at aiming. But it is not unfair. It's nice to not be able to just keep stunning them with each hit and just stand there until they die. You must be a little strategic with your positioning and when to hit them.

MY RATING

I would give this (Unfinished) game a solid
6.5/10
. I recommend SCUM because it is a fun game while still being realistic. It looks fantastic and you can play with friends. There needs to be a lot of fixes though, but I know they are coming soon. I will gladly continue playing this game in solo mode and with friends!

SUMMARY
[Story of Tutorial]
You revisit the depths of the Amazonian forest, you and your partner (Mia) to discover and gain acceptance from a tribe they seem to have a past, connection with. The Yabahuaca. You arrive with Mia and get setup and situated for your stay there. You are there for a specific reason, however Mia is the only one that can speak the tribes language has the ability to get on their good side. She leaves before you wake up the next day to begin her journey, meanwhile your surprised she had left before a goodbye on your birthday. Before She leaves, she writes a letter for you and sets it on top of a birthday gift that she has gotten you. Its a watch that will tell you how well your body is doing and will show you if you need nutrition, or water ect. This gift will help you survive alone in the wilderness. You speak to Mia over a walkie talkie every day, keeping in touch becomes increasingly difficult while she is around the tribe, so she's careful to not stir them up so she must be quite or walk away to attempt to speak to you. Days later you wake up to your partner crying out to you. Telling you she needs you with her, now. (End of tutorial story)
They are an isolated warrior people who know of, and fear the modern world. They are one of about eighty lost tribes living deep within the interior of the Amazon rainforest. By Gaining acceptance and becoming one of them, only then they will give you the reason why you are there.

FIRST IMPRESSION
The first thing I immediately thought, was the game "The Forest" and after playing it, the environment and situation is similar in many ways. I thought this mainly because your set in a forest, there are tribes and you get to craft and survive. However this game has a very different story so far and cant wait until the full release to see where it goes. The graphics are great and beautiful, along with most of the sound effects. Animations are fluent and everything controlling wise, is intuitive and responsive. The story is great so far and leaves you on edge and wanting to always find out what's going on or what could possibly be next. Your talking to Mia over the walkie most of the time, and there's a lot of dialogue. And its great because you really get to know how they act with each other and your capable of forming a connection to these characters, however since the dialogue is so important, sentences and simple casual conversations seem to take up most of the time. I say that but to be clear, you are able to move and walk around but listening to every word before you get your next objective can get a little dragged out or tedious.

MY THOUGHTS
I think this is a great game! Suspenseful, thrilling, story rich, adventure and a survival game, it is good so far and there is so much more potential to create such an outstanding game. I love how realistic it is to having trouble finding edible food to eat with your surroundings, down to having specific materials you must find in your environment to build what you want, and taking care of the most dangerous things that reside in the forest, Illness, injuries, and poisons. It really makes you want to do whats best for your partner, all the meanwhile taking care of your wellbeing. With how mysterious the tribe Yabahuaca is, you worry about Mia and what is happening when she is absent.

MY RATING
The rating I give Green Hell is 7/10. This is a beautiful game with an interesting, immersive story along side survival and craft building. There are things missing such as some sounds that aren't important like punching most things. Another is that the tutorial/objectives are not clearly lead me to knowing what I need to do. Such as the objective "Find something nutritious to eat". I searched the area about 4 times and ate everything I could until I finally tried eating all of the protein bars found in the tent. On a good note, finding bananas and other foods is a very important thing. Some foods give a different purpose, same as finding different crafts to treat and accomplish different things. There is much depth in this game and I will continue playing this game and I highly recommend for any story lover, adventurer, survivor or craft building lover to try this game out!

SUMMARY

In a dark and seemingly doomed area, you or you and a partner explore numerous small towns and traversing through clusters of trees and swamps avoiding zombies and abominations you must find a total of 3 clues using your dark sense ability, which allows you to see the direction you need to go in. Clues will lead you to your objective that is if you're still alive with ammunition. Clues are oftenly guarded and in high traffic areas with monsters that are difficult to defeat, meaning they are strong and fast. Bullets are scarce and health is hard to find. You must make the decision of sacrificing your bullets to kill, to clear your path or be stealthy and take a different route. You don't always want to avoid the monsters, killing them will gain you more XP. With every type of monster, grants you a certain amount of XP. Killing comes at a cost of ammunition and giving away your position to any nearby players or monsters. After you have collected all 3 clues

Monsters are not the only killer beings in this terrifying game. You must keep a look out for other players as well. Their not rare to come by so keep your guard up, not only you need to see everything but pay very close attention to sounds. Sounds will be your biggest help to let you know what kind of danger is nearby. There are traps and noise traps that will set off very loud noises that monsters and players will hear, such as a flock of crows, broken glass on the ground, or exploding a flammable barrel.

Every decision counts and you'll need a good mixture of stealth, determination, and knowing when to use your ammo. Shooting will draw in more monsters so if you decide to kill, be sure to check your surroundings. Keeping a controlled environment is extremely important. Their are many different weapons. You may buy weapons In the store, buy earning in game currency. With that you may buy Weapons, consumables, throwables, whatever best fits your play style. There are items in the map that you can use to damage your foes as well such as a lantern, axes, sledge hammer, bear traps, ect.

FIRST IMPRESSION

First of all... I love the music they used. It really gets me into the mindset that this is sort of a western theme. On top of that the graphics and colors and textures are perfect, to look fantastic, realistic, and it helps everything to be not as visible. The monster models are horrifying and you can even shoot limbs off. Details are very important and help with the immersing. The "Bosses" are stunningly scary and both have unique ways of attacking and must approach them with certain strategies. I love sneaking around but every now and then I like to get wild and kill everything. Which is risky but you do gain XP for it, so I like that you can play both wild, and stealthy.

MY THOUGHTS

I love this game. Its fun to play solo or with a friend or even a stranger. Communication is fantastic to have but I played a few games with a stranger and worked out just well. The music and the graphics really pull you into the mood of survival and keeps you on your toes. The guns and weapons you get are great for picking what best suits your play style and each character has perks and specialties of their own so you may pick and choose and combine weapons with whatever they master in so you can take full advantage of the perks.

MY RATING

There are a few tiny things that just bother me. One of them is that I commonly find at least 2 zombies that are walking and moving in sync and it breaks the immersion for me. The weapon in your hand reflects of the water as if it was a huge building right where your standing. The bigger monsters will occasionally get stuck on the environment around them. Bosses, especially the butcher cannot pass through normal doorways which just gives you a safe place to stand or run back to without the boss being able to reach you. I have no other problems. Just some minor ticks that throw me off. With all that said I give this game a strong
8/10

Summary
In a world that is being taken over by a deadly winter, a group of survivors find a location to call home. In order for them to survive, you as their leader must make the right decisions and lead them on the correct path. In this deadly scenario, every choice you make will decide the fate of many of your citizens. Put your colony to work to help contribute to everyone's health and safety. Even working them to much can result in a fatality.
Your people are counting on you and put all their trust in you. If you make the wrong choices or ignore them, they will loose trust and dethrone you as their leader. Fight for your life to stay warm and do your best to seek out more survivors that were less fortunate than you. Build your city around your steam generator to make sure your workers are warm enough to operate so they may cook food and mine for the materials you need to progress. Expand your utility by upgrading your buildings to be more efficient and create new laws to help illness, hunger and death within your grounds. Be the leader your city needs. Be the leader your people want.

First thoughts
If you love city building then this game is a must, for it has many things to do without it being tedious and has an amazing back story. Also, each citizen has unique problems you must try and solve without hurting more people.
The graphics are amazing and with the steampunk theme it makes it epic for a city builder game. You can build in circle form around your generator, making for a unique strategy of placing the buildings you need. It also just looks very cool :). This game really does a fantastic job at showing how cold it really is and how dangerous extreme low temperatures can be.
The problems that rise with the people really seem to make you connect and sympathize with them and encourage you to make the right decision.
The menus are very well put together and very easy to use and navigate. They are shaped as a skill tree, of course. Each law and its upgrades are well detailed with everything you need to know even how it will effect your people, whether it be a negative or a positive effect.
The whole point is to survive, advance, and help as many survivors as you can.
Some of the problems are not easily solved and gives you a sense of panic that you may lose your people or something has gone terribly wrong with the equipment. It's nice to have these problems because you'll learn more and create new laws to sustain the way people are coping with the new orders you have given them.

My rating
This is an amazing game and as a person that hasn't really gotten into city builders due to being to tedious and cluttered, it has given a very good impression and its the type of game that I can keep coming back to play over and over again to see how I can do better and try out new scenarios. I haven't made a pros and cons list simply because I don't see any cons. Its well worth the money and the time. The story will drag you in and the way you will connect to the characters make you dedicated to continue making progress. I give this game a solid
9/10
relating to the sounds, graphics, controls, user friendly, story, and things to do, and the price.

I hope this review has helped you make your decision!

SUMMARY
Beggin waking up in your room as a littler girl who has a bad case of asthma and must keep her calm at all times in this grizzly nightmarish game of misery. You soon find out that you brother is missing and there are strange things going on in your house and seems like your mother wantes nothing to do with you. You alone must make your way through the house solving puzzles and mysteries to find out where your brother has gone and what exactly is going on all the mean while your fighting off bad thoughts and what seems to be ghosts or other wordly creatures that do there best to stop you.

FIRST IMPRESSION
At first just by the graphics you can definitley tell this is an indie game, however do not let that throw you off. This is a great game and can match many of the most popular stealth horror games. The way you kind of just drop into the game and finding clues really drags you in, dropping hint after hint of whats happening in your home. The art is amazing and the style of the creatures are very haunting and will actually leave you feeling a little on edge. Even though theres not a huge penalty of dying. This game is certainly made to be a story rich game and wants you to focus on the lure and the secrets you find thoughout your gameplay.

MY THOUGHTS
This is a fantastic game, great graphics and great sound effects and the sound track makes you feel earie and uneasy as it should. This is a simple game and the puzzels are great, not to hard and not to easy. and seeing as how they update the game with a brand new chapter every time is awesome too(cuurrently played chapter 1 & 2).

MY RATING
The rating of this game as it is currently is an 7.5/10. Due to some of the sounds are a little off and as much as you are stuck in one puzzle the lines for the enemys are extremly repedative and hard to tell what direction they are coming from. There are a few glitches where one of the first enemys got stuck and i was able to take my good ol' time solving what needed to be solved. There are a few more very, very minor glitches but none that affect the gameplay.

SUMMARY
Start off as playing a janitor (Cooper) on a ship in space and wake up from being unconcious to only find out somthing terrible has happened to the ship and why everybody is gone. There is one other person on the ship and you must follow his insturcutions to make your way through areas, solving puzzles to descover more of the story of what truly happend.

FIRST IMPRESSION
The graphics are amazing and easy to learn controls. However dialog beggins early, and you cant do anything but walk around until the dialog is over, and most of the time the dialog is quite long. after you get past that the puzzles are pretty hard with your choice of getting help at anytime (only with the terminal puzzles). Navigating around is confusing at times seeing theres no real good indication of what direction you should go in. The terminal puzzles are difficult even though is does help you know what to type to navigate your way thought the system, however theres so many folders, you must know which ones to go in, so in summary you will be blindly searching through folders and dead ends for a while until you finally type in the write combination, and seems like some of the keys, passwords, ect. are randomly generated with each game so you cant look it up which could be a good thing but makes for a long difficult time consuming effort. There is a great story to this game and the enviroment gives you an feeling of being alone despite the other person here and there on the comm system. In my opinion the "action" button is hard to locate on the things you need to interact with, you will either pass somthing up because you wont know its interactable or you will be wiggling your mouse around for a bit trying to make your action.

MY THOUGHTS
My thoughts are, this game seems great and story rich with graphics and texture that will drag you in, if it werent so time consuming. It takes ages to just get through a few steps. This game does not hold your hand throught the gameplay, at most it will guide you in the genaral direction and you must go from there. If it were easier to interact with things, and if the dialog wasnt so long i wouldnt feel so bored. If your a player that can take your time playing a story rich sifi game, this game maybe just right for you.

MY RATING
The rating I decided to give this game is a
4/10
due to the lack of being active. you must pause all the time and wait. Probably best to bring up a notepad as well seeing how theres not much of a hud and you need to remember passwords and such.. I liked where the game was going, but with all the flaws i have pointed out, it was just to much of an inconvenience.

SUMMARY
You play as an unkwon character on an train. Your sitting at a table with a masked dealer standnig by your side ready to deal whatever damage of the cards you have chosen for you or your opponent. Theres one opponent across the table of you and you must play a deadly card game to earn your life. You and your oppenent have someone elses face stitched you yours and your mouths sown shut! The cards your dealt, deliver the amount of damage you or the other player will take from the dealer. Fight for your life in this card game of torture.

FIRST IMPRESSION
For those of you who played Resident evil 7, the 21 card game, this is very much like it. This is still a very new game so there are many bugs and things to be fixed. And this is a 1v1 only game, luckly people who have this game can create a lobby and is easy to find another opponent. Its such a fun game to play with a friend. The graphics are pretty amazing and the atmostphere you get from your enviroment really sets the deep scary tone.

MY THOUGHTS
I love this game and will continue to play it. the first couple of bugs like having trouble placing the cards down on the table and not being able to use your bounus cards are a bit annoying. The anniamtions of the dealer hitting us could be better and i think should leave some sort of marks on the bodys. Most of the damage take from the dealer are deadly butu dont kill you but thats ok, its ads a nice shock value most of the time. There certainly needs to be more sound effects, especially when the players recieve damage. The card game itself is pretty simple and very fun. the cards are randomly dealt and due to the bonus cards you have a fair chance of winning all the time. the dealer is a creepy masked figure watching over you and the game at all times and does weird things to keep you on edge and its just fantastic.

MY RATING
My rating for this game will be made proportionate to the depth of the game, which is very small. i rate this game 7/10 because it gives exactly what it says it offers but still needs work done. Many bugs to fix and maybe some customization since both player modles are duplicated. perhaps different locations, different dealers and a new deck of cards with attacks. overall i enjoyed playing this game as is and i beleive you will too!
