weird, i cleared my cache and workshop folders for fresh installs and still had the problem that day. ill check it out again later.

Zedternal server got its cache deleted. I can connect to server on that map through my desktops, my laptop no go. The laptop has not had its KF2 game cache deleted in like five or six years, desktops get cache deleted monthly. Cascavel map now works also.

get on borderlands 3 a year later.

I found that someone was having a similar issue with a different mod and one of the players responded with this:

"There are actually two places where steam workshop content for KF2 is located, one in the KFGame\Cache folder and one in the Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\232090 folder. Wiping both will force steam to actually redownload everything fresh"

That may be why clearing cache didn't help for you, unless you did wipe both. I'll keep looking into other possible fixes.
