best fighting game to ever grace this industry full of cheesy corny braindead anime waifu fighters, this ♥♥♥♥ smacks EVERYTHING else out of the park 450 dead center, the only other game that comes close is it's predecessor (mvc2), endless creativity with it's incredibly in-depth, complex, intricate, mechanical combo system and team synergy/design, endless skill ceiling with how technical the movement, combos, technology, mindgames, neutral and everything is, i get bored of most fighting games within 30-100 hours of playtime, but the endless replayability and dopamine given from this games incredibly high skill high reward design, you can spend thousands of hours in this game and barely even scratch the surface of the skill ceiling, somehow get bored of the team you've spent 350+ hours learning? spend another 350+ hours learning a new team and their crazy, difficult combos/synergy, this game's graphical style is absolutely beautiful and still holds up to this day despite the game being 12 years old (vanilla mvc3 is 13 years old) there is no other fighting game like this, unfortunately due to it's insanely high skill ceiling, most beginners end up ditching the game not even 20 hours in, so PLEASE, give this game a chance if you're looking for something original and unlike anything else, and if you don't like it, that's fine, you can go back to your baby mode fgs like sf6, guilty gear, tekken and mortal kombat, but, if you are willing to put in the work you will not regret it, there is a dedicated UMvC3 discord server to get started, you can ask for help, tips, etc
