I'm simply blown away by what I experienced in my 117 hours of play. It's almost impossible to describe with words, more so without trying to give so much as a hint about the story.

Cyberpunk 2077 is an experience that will vie for your attention whether you want it to or not. Once it has your eyes and ears, you will be completely immersed in an incredibly unique world and emotional story. I had moments where I felt like a badass clearing entire hideouts, surviving seemingly impossible odds, only to get completely flipped on my head and start sobbing like a baby because the story knows when to hit you, where to hit you, and how hard to hit you.

It's ultimately a story of hubris, and yet in spite of this, you still feel a deep empathy for V. They made their bed, but you don't want them to lie in it. You want to make the right choices, but there seldom are any. You want to fight for a happy ending for them, for everyone involved, but then you hear those words: "Here, for folks like us? Wrong city, wrong people."


15/10, play it.

this game has been with me through multiple relationships and hard losses over 11 years.

on one hand, could argue that it's keeping me from experiencing successful and healthy relationships. on the other hand, could also argue that it's protecting me from the outside world.

either way, i have a crippling addiction.
