A fun quirky demo for a story-driven rhythm game that'll release soon, you don't need to be good to actually enjoy this nor is getting good the actual goal, the only goal is to send your denpa signals to Yunyun and witnessing how much of a girlfailure Qtie is.

The gameplay is alright, standard 4-key rhythm game, the charts aren't insanely difficult and in enough time you can clear most of them, remember to adjust your settings as needed and maybe try out the Slim-lane type and maybe go Windowed mode if you're feeling nauseous from the chart notes!

if you liked Needy Streamer Overload (Needy Girl Overdose), this game's vibes will feel similar to you, instead of an aspiring youtuber brushing her depression under the rug, it's an otaku who just really, really, REALLY, loves her fictional anime girl, so pretty much like looking in a mirror.
However if you dislike the localization, this game isn't for you. I think they're meta with the vibe of the game considering its love for references and culture from past and to now, and besides, Qtie is a lost cause so I don't even find it out of place for her to say dumb things like "rizz" or "skibidi".

A fantastic PVE 4-player co-op game with a concept and premise that initially starts out fun that quickly starts to show its seams if you look past the surface.
I enjoyed this game as a newbie, I arrived at the Super Earth Front only just around after the Invasion of Super Earth, so I never got to experience the launch state which was infamous and notorious for a lot of things and at the time, things were relatively fun.

or so I thought, and seems like most people thought so too!

As of September 2025, around the ODST Collab Warbond and Into The Unjust update, this game has probably taken the worst hit its gotten in terms of everything. Performance significantly degraded, numerous bugs and known issues still not fixed, balancing is at its worst state, the Terminid front are all loadout checks and received a second new strain and new units which a majority of the community deems unfair and fun, Illuminate front hasn't gotten an update in months, and the Automaton front received a unit that virtually has no weakness outside of an Anti-Tank method unlike its peers and is as of right now, unplayable due to constant memory leaks leading to crashes + audio shenanigans. The game has bloated since from 81GB to 142GB even! That's pretty absurd when the console versions are only reportedly 30-40GB at worst.

There are more to go on about but to choose a few, frankly I'm one of the few that still dislikes Warbonds as a concept because its basically inferior battle-passes and grinding for Super Credits is not exactly productive nor fun as someone with little available time in a day, and I would LOVE to drop $10 on each Warbond... if they were good in the first place outside of like, 3 Warbonds that give you the weapons that passes the loadout check of 2 fronts out of 3, as someone living in SEA, $10 is a lot, and for how little I receive for $10 in this game compared to a standard battle-pass in any other games, even if most other games' battle-pass are cosmetics only, it feels like I'm being scammed out of my money to get 2 weapons and maybe a new stratagem that on a good day might work, two identical armor set being overlapping/reused in passive skill you can't recolor or transmog, melee weapons being useless because this is a horde shooter that didn't have melee in mind, or half of the premium grenades being worthless because they... just don't know how to make them unique or feel good somehow.

There are almost no progression tied to the game as well unlike other PVE games of the same strain. The max level of players is LVL 150, however all free stratagem unlocks are basically unlocked at LVL 25 max, and gun level is also capped at LVL 25, all your starting gear, such as different weapons, armor passives, etc. are locked behind the Free Warbond that's given to you by default... which means a lot of your initial unlocks aren't even tied to player level, its tied to grinding currency called medals to get a padded-out Warbond, which by the way, the medal count caps at 250 which means if you take a break from the game and or don't have anything to spend it on, any extra medal you gain from Personal Orders (daily missions), or Mission Orders (playerbase-wide mission objectives) will go straight into the void, and when items in a Warbond can ask for up to 150 (such as a Booster) medal at once, this sucks and makes the grind even more notable, this system is horrible and it just feels like the idea is unclear and they never managed to iron out what they really want out of their players.

Also its 2025, is there seriously no loadout/presets in this game for stratagem and equipment? yet the gun attachments has a preset-saving? The game also hides a lot of information from you, expect to be reading the Wiki or looking up on the internet how things work past a certain point because by the lord there are gimmicks in this game you will never know without looking into it, the Galactic War System is also not explained very well and you may as well be throwing your body into whatever front you want because the MO is just irrelevant and usually by participating once, you get counted for the MO anyways.

There's a lot more to say but these are the ones that stuck to my head the most during my 60 hours of Super Helldive/Difficulty 10 ventures in this game, it is a potential extremely fun PVE game with lots of goods in it to be found marred by confusing systems, recent unbalanced enemy types, and launch-long since bugs and issues still floating around and unfixed, and the community and developers being at odds which each other.

Until they fix a lot of things, such as the performance degrading (loading into a mission causes framedrops, Automaton front causes memory leak/constant crash, Terminid front also reportedly crashes a lot of people), major issues/bugs still not squished (too many to even list an example here), the weird balancing direction the game is heading, and maybe squish that bloated game size because approaching 150-200GB is seriously horrible, I cannot recommend the game at its current state, and potentially future state given the track record of how slow and inefficient it is for the developers at Arrowhead to update their game and their lack of transparency and proper channel communication (unless you consider Discord a good communication method for a game of this caliber and playerbase size... because that's where they drop non-patch note updates and talk about things).
Please, look into other games in the meantime, because the fun to be had here is very short-lived until then.
