Everyone better than me is cheating.

Wanted to review on the index page, but they don't allow that. My Index HMD is dead within 60 hours of use. Out of warranty and no replacement motherboards available from Valve or iFixit.

Unfortunately we are seeing the downsides to DRM like steam this week. I own this game on steam, but if I login to steam using a GeForce Now server I cannot play this game that I own. Bethesda and other publishers are asking steam to prevent this and they are obliging.

Early access, lootboxes and microtransactions interfere with arena shooting.

Overwatch at least lets you access the various characters, so there isn't a balance issue. Quake Champions only gives you the lowest tier character unless you grind out in game currency or fork over cash.

So far so good. Developer is very responsive to bugs and feature suggestions.

I'd recommend you be into USPSA or IPSC. At least be aware of them and understand this is a way to virtually play those shooting sports and possibly practice at home for them. Right now I am trying to gauge if this has any benefit to supplementing dry fire training or if it is just fun.

Now if you cannot play USPSA/IPSC in your area this would be a really fun way to experience the rules and try shooting stages.

The stage builder is great for quickly doing some virtual drills. One thing I wish it has was more options on scoring, as right now you can only hit a target for best 2. Something like a bill drill doesn't work.

+Essentially unlimited song options due to using the YouTube library.
+Leaderboards for more replay value.
+Multiple "maps" per song, so the best one will end up being played the most.
+Can toggle a lot of the graphic features that you might find distrating.
+Tracks force, so you can't just hold you hand in the path of the dots.

-Developer support for crashes/errors. Never get email responses from them.
-Documentation on modes, playlists, and various other game features. Basically just have to figure it out.

Somewhat short. Got to the final "Unable to log into game server. [2100e]" only about 1 minute into gameplay.
