I purchased the game on Epic to test out the very beginning of the game and to give feedback on it. I managed to get 242 hours and 35 minutes, in which I had a lot of fun, a lot of despair, and a lot of unexpected moments. The game is a rightful successor to the first, and although it is pretty different, it is also unique, and I couldn't recommend it more, especially since this is just the 1.0 release, with a lot more features to come down the road. A fantastic experience, could not recommend it more.

Edit: The game will receive a massive free update, this further proves the devs care about the community, however the only criticism I have is regarding updates towards future updates / content. Chris mentioned them wanting to be fully prepared for when they tease something, however having to wait 2 months for a release date to a DLC can be quite harsh, especially since players are looking forward to said DLC. More sneak peaks here and there, they do not have to be many, but some to provide more hype would be greatly appreciated.
