I'd love to recommend this game if it was a few bucks, but 22€ or 25€ is simply too much for what the game has to offer. The available content is adorable and made with lots of love, but it really isn't much of a game. It is a little kitty, but sadly not a big city. Even the parkour elements of the game are surprisingly limited, without the ability to climb, except on predetermined "viny walls". The mechanics are also a bit too clunky to just enjoy the movement, with me getting stuck, glitching into objects, phasing through walls, etc multible times in my very short time playing. I really hope this game will get the future updates it deserves, to actually make the city big.

The soundtrack is amazing, the visuals are adorable, but I really expected more from the gameplay.

Generally probably the best "backrooms experience" you can get. The atmosphere is quite unsettling and would probably even be scarier, if I hadn't seen the game in a youtube video before. (YT: Corrupted) The simple backrooms layout together with a great fisheye lense effect, filter and low FOV, make the game look photorealistic, even on weaker systems. The careful use of ambience sounds and the constant shuffling of your own steps combined with the muffled wind sounds from the camera microphone, enhance the experience even more. It was the first game I downloaded and played through after watching a full "let's play" of it, just to have the experience myself. Also somehow managed to "not get stuck", even tho my orientation skills aren't that good at all, I somehow never didn't find a way out, probably thanks to the great map design, without breaking the maze-like feeling of "the backrooms".

If you have 9 hours a day to play this game, it's great. This game is still nerve wrecking after 600h playtime. I still get a huge adrenalin rush when i get shot at with 9k Stone in my inventory.

This game has a 1 week addiction factor, simular to Minecraft. Amazing atmosphere with nostalgic graphics and great shaders. The only flaw is the poor optimization and maybe the lack of content from a certain point, but that's to be expected from an early access title. I'm really looking forward to more of this! ^_^

This game is so good I had to rewrite my review. It's hands down the most fun fps experience you can have.
There is just that one problem, that everyone immediately notices when joining a match today. Bots. Cheaters. EVERYWHERE. But all players know about that. If you see past the lack of care that valve puts into the game, it's the most influential piece of video game out there.
This game has created a perfect universe around itself. The characters are some of the simplest and yet most well rounded characters you could create. (and that's just story wise)
The gameplay mechanics have such a high skill ceilling that you could literally put thousands of hours in the game and have a lot to learn. The different weapons give each class so insane many sub classes, that out of the 8 main classes, you could make 50+ sub classes with each their unique playstyle. It's a shame new players don't have access to all weapons from the start, but stock weapons are a very viable choice, always. Some say that stock is the most viable on a competitive standpoint. The game is free to play and if you got a few spare bucks in your pocket, you can easily buy all non-cosmetic class weapons for 0,01€ each. Once you have access to all weapons, this game is unmatched in the amount of fun you can have. You may choose the best weapon loadout to wipe the enemy team, or pick some gimmicky meme class and wipe the enemy team with it. Or you could just throw out all your weapons and go in with a pair of mittens and scream "GO LEFT" at the enemy. Sometimes lobbies become completely friendly and everyone just hangs out for ♥♥♥♥'s 'n' giggles. Then one sweaty sniper comes around and ruins everyones fun, turning the lobby hostile again, which is completely fine.
This game has simultaneously the best and the worst community I've ever come across. There is the SFM community producing high quality, almost movie like, animations for absolutely no compensation, except for YT ad revenue. On the other side we got racist people spamming nazi parols in VC and they can do that, because Valve has cut off TF2's life support. Valve is waiting for TF2 to die out, which is kinda understandable, since it has been around for about 14 years now. It somehow still keeps up with time, but Valve has stopped believing. It's still in the top steam player count charts and could really use the love it deserves.
If this is the end tho, (slowly coming to an end) this has been the best time I've had with a video game in a long shot. This game has marked my childhood/teens in a good way. It will forever rest at a spot in my heart.
