I am an American living in Asia, and I cannot join a single server outside of my continent without my ping and cannot play with my friends. Refunding immediately.

The Good.
First and foremost, I enjoy this game.
The characters and combat are fun and comparable to peak Overwatch. (Honestly a bit better.)
The new characters, Susan Storm and Mr. Fantastic are good additions. Mr. Fantastic is super fun to play as. I can't wait for the future of the character, especially skins (and mods if their support returns.)
The team synergies are good additions that encourage team cooperation and planning.
Allowing players to be able to purchase the battlepass through missions and playing the game is definitely a good thing.

The Mid:
The battle-pass is short but has decent content.
The new map is a bit too-blocky. (I suppose it's fine because it's meant to be Manhattan) But it's missing some shortcuts and it's somewhat difficult to read for new players. There aren't shortcuts where there should be, requiring a learning curve. Players easily get lost.

The Bad:
Disabling cosmetic and audio mods in this most recent update is super disappointing. Being able to customize characters, add custom skins to characters that honestly should be in the base game, and adding funny quips, songs and one liners to characters is definitely something that added a layer of charm to the game. So seeing that gone is definitely upsetting. There has to be a way to discern mods from cheating. Hopefully some kind of Community Workshop compatibility could be added.
The re-balances are good, but not enough, characters such as Hela and Hawkeye are still ridiculously overpowered. Whereas characters that possibly could use a buff, *cough* Spiderman *cough* were left in the dust.
A 90-day Season period warrants a longer battlepass with more content. I suppose once characters such as the Thing and Human Torch are added, we will see more content. Hopefully without the requirement of an additional purchase
It crashes, often. Which is incredibly annoying. They definitely need to focus on stability and bug-fixes.

In conclusion, restore mods, and I will change this review to recommended.

This game scratches somewhat of an old itch that spore left in my heart.

I really do enjoy the sandbox element to this game. I enjoy creating creatures and having them interact with one another, and finding the perfect balance within an ecosystem to make it sustainable.

This game isn't trying to be spore, but it shares a lot of elements, also a lot of elements that are to be desired.

1) It's very unoptimized. It crashes every time I play.
2) The textures and models don't leave room for creativity in the way a game like spore with let you.
3) It would be cool to allow creatures to naturally evolve from algae to higher forms of life, as opposed to just plopping these things into existence like you're God in Genesis.

i went into this game with INCREDIBLY HIGH expectations.

I have watched The Revenge of the Sith more times than you can count on your hands. I LOVE THAT MOVIE. I LIVE FOR THAT MOVIE. AND WHEN I DISCOVERED THAT ANAKIN DOESN'T SAY "THIS IS WHERE THE FUN BEGINS" I LOST IT.

I THREW MY KEYBOARD ACROSS THE ROOM. I ♥♥♥♥ BRICKS!!! I COULDNT HANDLE IT!!! WHY WAS THE GREVIOUS FIGHT SO LONG!!! WHY DID PLAYER 2 GET SCREWED OVER FOR THE ANAKIN VS OBIWAN FIGHT!!! THIS MAKES NO SENSE!!!!!!! THIS MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL!!!!!

VRChat is a game that allows anyone to have (almost) any model they want, and be in an infinite sandbox of worlds and games, which can create a lot of variety of environments to socialize and have just an overall good time. I do think this game is really cool, however that does not impact my negative review of this game.

This game is not a safe place and action needs to be made by the developers to make it safer for children using it. I've seen children running around in sexually explicit avatars being spoken to and encouraged by grown adults in games essentially grooming them. This is an issue and it needs to be acknowledged. Parents are part to blame, but more action needs to be done to segregate these children from predators.

spiderman isnt in this game

Very unpolished, with a large initial learning curve, with a large amount of obviously public assets found in other ghost games, and a mixmatch of aesthetics that demonstrates the devs aren't sure of the visual style of what they want the game to be.

The core gameplay theoretically has a lot of potential, but it really takes me out of it to have an upside down ghost running after me.

The Game developers are schizophrenic and don't know what they want out of the game. They prioritize cosmetic items that cost more than twice of the actual game, rather than quality content improving the immersion and game play experience. Reviving teammates requires a ridiculous amount of work, collecting totems isn't enough. You have to carry them, as slow as possible across the map. Bigfoot loses his "scary" factor very quickly once the shock factor is gone and you learn his movement patterns and becomes a grindy bulletsponge to kill. Speaking of which, they picked the worst model they could for the Bigfoot, and its a shame they added all of these DLC skins for it and made it the centerpiece of the game.
