A great little game! Not too complicated, great for relaxing.

Vail has very polished core mechanics. Everything feels good and looks good. This is an extremely good foundation to build on and it clearly is well on its way to being the premier VR fps multi player. There are still some rough edges to smooth and design decisions to be made in the different game modes. I'm very excited to see where this goes.

The campaign isn't just short, it's bad. Particularly the moon level. Talk about calling it in. If you are buying this game for the campaign, don't bother. I'll wait and see what the 3rd party modding brings to this game and revisit this review then.

If you like survival games, this might be for you. I appreciate the detail put into the weapons, attachments, and ammo. Controls are well thought out and easy enough to learn. If you like realistic guns, and want a good game to use them in, this game will be your jam.

I think this is a great game for some people. If you like the card-building and progression style gameplay then this will be your jam. If you are like me and a huge old school L4D junkie, this may not be your thing. L4D was simple, and addictive and purely skill based. There was no progression. Your ability to complete higher difficulties was not a game mechanic, it was the progression of your own skill. This game depends on your deckbuilding and you need to grind cards before you can attempt playing harder difficulties. I’m a simple man, I just want to shoot some zombies and make some friends. I don’t want to study and grind to build an effective deck.

For the price and amount of game play available now, I’d recommend waiting to buy. Based on what is here now, this game has solid bones and will be a legendary space flight game. If you really need something to scratch that itch, buy the early access, but don’t expect that itch to be scratched for long.

Fun game, very well optimized. Much like Fortnight, just in VR. The gun controls and reloading are simplistic but lend themselves well to this kind of rapid game play. Climbing and gliding mechanics work effortlessly. This game is very easy to pick up, play, and have fun. I have played this game with index headset and controlers. This is a must get shooter for VR. One thing to note is that all games have 3 player teams and you need to communicate and play well with others. So far the majority of my interactions with the player base have been good, but if that changes it could ruin an otherwise fantastic game.

The developers ought to be embarrassed to release this game at $80CAD. This is nowhere near a AAA quality game. The graphics are ugly, the performance isn't great, The scale of people and objects is all over the place. The animations look like what I would expect from a game in the early 2000s The first few missions are very short skirmishes divided by cut scenes and loading. It's clear that there was effort made in some places while other things look thrown together. 1 hour is enough to see that this is nowhere near the game it needs to be to justify the price. I'm going to refund it and will come back to it when the price is below $20. That is the price that justifies a game that looks like this. Very disappointing. I was hoping for another game that would really show what VR gaming can be.

I played this game when it was a free demo before it made it on to steam. It was a lot of fun then and has only improved since. This is a must buy for anybody who has VR.

I want to like this game but there are some glaring shortcomings. I'm not ready to refund it but hope that there will be some fixes in short order. If you are considering buying I'd wait at this point.
