Is this prologue worth $30? I don't think so. Paying less than $10 would be fair considering the amount of content it brings. Most people will say the campaing is short, and it is, but the game offers more content after the main mission is completed. Easily you can get around 6 hours of total gameplay, a little more if you are not that good in these kind of games that require patience.

Leaving that behind, the game looks outstanding on budget based computers, I enjoyed it with 8 GB of RAM, ATI Radeon 5870 and a Core 2 Quad Q8400 at a stable framerate, the cutscenes are all real time like I would expect from a Kojima directed metal gear game, no pre-rendered crap like MG: Rising. The gameplay is fluid and intuitive, the music is outstanding and the enemy AI is pretty descent.

The story continues right after the events of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, if you are new to the series, everything won't make much sense, there are some tapes and texts in the game that try to explain the events in the past games since MGS3: Snake Eater, but I would recommend playing or atleast watching a few videos about the story of Big Boss and his crew.

I still don't understand why this was not included in the main game, just like in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, where you play the first part (prologue) with Snake and then you play the real game with Raiden. But still, it's a nice addition to the PC library of games, and a must have if you are a Metal Gear fan like myself.

A really nice fighting game, with extended content as for story mode and character cast. The story centers on the anime right after the battle with Pain, voices are available in both japanese and english, directly from the tv series. All cinemas are in real time, not pre-rendered crap, and you can even compare both the episodes with the cutscenes from the game, which look fairly identical.

The fighting style it's pretty much a 3D "smash brothers" like gameplay, you have fairly simple way of performing special attacks, a block button and you can move freely over the arena with smooth animations and details for each character, very fast paced fights and anybody can play it without problem.

Overall, it's a nice game, specially for Naruto fans.

I'm actually enjoying this game really much! It's the same type of gameplay of Arkham City, but a good addition to the saga. If you happen to like the dark knight movies from Chris Nolan, this game will grant you a lot of resemblance to them, all of the 3 games from Arkham will. Action wise, it's very good and it does not get repetitive like Arkham Asylum, since you can explore the city and do all otherthings such as solve crimes and rescue people in danger. The sound and music are stunning and you'll get a very cinematic experience with the whole game. Recommended!

This is a great game by far, packed with action from the very beggining, it doesn't get repetitive like other hack and slash games out there, plus it has a nice touch of stealth gameplay in it :D, the story is alright, but all characters are well designed, and the music is more than excellent! Boss battles are the best part of the game with their cool cinematics and dialogs, play it on HARD since on normal it's not that complicated to finish.

Worth every penny!

I am changing my review from a negative stand to a positive just because I tried playing after a year now and online gameplay has improve tremendously.

I would only say that the issue with the country flags limits how much matches you get, but other than that, the netcode is way better than before.

First time playng this... aaaaaaaaaaaaaand I played it for 4 hours straight :D

Excellent game! Great attention to details, superb soundtrack, and full of beat'em up action :D

This little game must be experienced with all volume crancked up and with nice headsets :D it's simple and starts a little slow paced, but it trully becomes interesting and the puzzles are fun to figure out. The story could be considered a small work of modern art.

I'm liking it so far.

As a Castlevania fan, this game is great. A nice combination of the old metroivania style games, and the new Lords of Shadow style. The game is not so hard with the checkpoints on the bosses, but you can always turn up the difficulty level to get a better challenge. One thing to note on this game as the 2 big brothers it has, it's the huge attention to detail the developers had when developing the graphics, that even though are ported from a smaller console, the stages are very well created, with proper lighting, and even the smallest things like paintings or things on the walls are not repeated across the whole game.

One of the best tactical shooters of all time. Constant patching/updates based on community feedback, strong and huge fanbase / community, excellent and smooth graphic quality. Excellent competitive scene worldwide, very good matchmaking and ranking system, weapon skins that don't affect gameplay or balance.

You can't ask for more.
