Although the game has flaws that I despise (camera rotation, character customization, and HUD display), I will always recommend it. I feel like the game is underrated, but I do not know many people who play this genre. I am generally biased when it comes to games, especially of the graphical quality; however, the game is ranked in my top 10 (I own a lot of games), and killing tons of enemies with a challenging game mode is something I enjoy. This review sucks, but I liked the game enough to type it at 1 in the morning. That alone should mean the game is worth it...

First off, this is my very first review, so I hope it isn't too bad..
This is my favorite game of all time, hands down. First off, the graphics are amazing. There are many different ways you can tweak them which helps you find the perfect balance between performance and quality. The sound quality is amazing as well and I really like the soundtrack that is incorporated into the game. Last, but not least, the bullet-time FX is so stunning that the game wouldn't be the same without it. I have spent many hours on this game trying to play through each level of difficulty and every subsequent experience was just as amazing as the one that preceded it.
I do, however, have one thing to complain aboutl. The one complaint I have targets the game's very long loading sequences. Though the game is quite large, I feel that the loading times present in each level are a bity excessive and this doesn't help gamers stay focused on the gameplay. On the other hand, the cinematics that play during the loading sequences are very well put together and really help illuminate the interesting story of Max and the problems he faces on a daily basis.
I can not wait until the next installment of Max Payne is released and hopefully, when that happens (if it ever does), it proves to be just as good as this Max Payne.
