I have not had this much fun in a game for a long time, the amount of quality is insane for how cheap it is too! Looking forward to all the updates to this game in the future, it can only get better!

This game should be an example to game devs everywhere on how to make a solid game out of the gate.

Only thing is I wish that there were more achievements I could grind for without having to wait daily.

I have yet to see a VR gun game that has such attention to detail, easy to use mechanics, and a passionate developer as this. I got this game near its beginning stages back when I first got my Gen 1 HTC vive, and man, this game has gone through countless upgrades and changes.

If you are looking for a VR game to scratch that itch of going to the range, and trying out weird weapons on wacky enemies, this is the one for you.

This game is truly unique to me in the style of horror it gives the player. It doesn't rely on jump scares, and keeps you on your toes even as an experienced player.

I love how all of the game mechanics have been revised since I got it in beta, and the game looks absolutely gorgeous with the new graphics updates!

Only thing I can really gripe about is maybe the sounds could be worked on, but it looks like they are constantly being revamped (just look at the new feedback you get from the spirit box and parabolic mic!)

overall awesome horror game, compounded by fun with friends.

Getting out and socializing is harder now than ever, so VR Chat is a good way to meet new people without leaving the house! Thankfully it's playable with or without a headset, so anyone can get one and chill out. The worlds can get pretty creative as well, and has a good community to push out new content. Speaking of which, the ability to upload your own custom avatars, content, and worlds is by far my favorite part about this game. There is always something new going on, and plenty of friends to make!

This game is wonderful to play both alone and with friends. The weapons each have their own strengths, and are fun to use.

A large factor of the game for me is the stealth, and infiltrating bases in creative ways to complete the objective. The enemies are difficult, but not impossible to deal with, leaving the game feel challenging.

I also love the story! Really love how it builds emotion for each character, and makes you care about the events rather than just giving you something to do. 10/10 game.

TL;DR Version below! Points addressed: overview, Gameplay, combat, graphics, faults with the game, final thoughts.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Overview: Overgrowth is an amazing game for such a small developement crew. It has all the feelings of a homemade game, but the quality is surprisingly great. The models used in the game have great detail, as well as physics. The new storyline they added to the game is unfinished, but I am glad that it is there. I feel the writing had a good story line, but the diologue was a little poorly carried out. If they polish it up later on, I feel multiple story lines will make this game a real gem. There is also an arena mode, where you can fight in randomly generated senarios and fight to your heart's content. I have not yet tried out the multiplayer mode, (where you can fight a friend) but I would assume it would make for a great challenge.

Gameplay: First off, this is a difficult game to grasp at first. I found myself being frustrated halfway through the story mode, because I had no idea how to properly block, even after the tutorial. I had to look up an actual youtube video, and then practice fighting. However, after you learn how to play, and become good at it, it makes for some amazing fight scenes, and cool strategies. Speaking of strategy, that is a HUUUUUUUGE factor to this game while playing story mode. It is very difficult to just run in guns blazing and beat the snot out of your enemies. You have to assess your situation and plan accordingly, and if your plan fails, you either formulate a new one, or die. On a side note, the physics on of this game are amazing, I love how they take into account that you can break bones or snap your neck during battle, it really adds some realisim to the mix.

Combat: This is by far the main aspect of the game, and the combat role certainly fills that status. The movements are not over-exhagerated, and you feel a sense of power with each of your strikes. The only downfall is when you fight more than one opponent, it is hard to fend off everyone with the current move set. I can definitely feel the gaping hole where splash damage attacks should be, and I hope something is added later on. If you look at my screenshots, you can see that I had difficulty with a level because there were four opponents (all armed) and even while I tried being sneaky and killing them one at a time, they were too smart and eventually all rushed me. Once they surrounded you, it was a flurry of furry arms and legs, then when the smoke cleared, a mangled model of what you think might be your character is left in the middle. Another thing I found, is that there is a lack of range weapons. Adding a bow and arrow would be a huuuuuuge advantage, but it would be much better than taking the odds of throwing your sword or dagger. Half the time when I tried throwing weapons, they would either catch them, or it would just bounce off, rendering the attack useless. Also, I have no idea why, but the staff is DEADLY AF. the opponent may have a sword (which is an instant kill) but if you have a staff, that poor bunny has no hope in hell. All it takes is for you to get him to ragdoll, and then you can poke the living ♥♥♥♥ out of him on the ground until he is dead. Opponents are also merciless with the staffs, and just wreck house with them. Forget about the swords, get a staff.

Graphics: For a small crew of indie game makers, the graphics are phenominal. I really love the detail in the characters, and the landscapes arent too shabby. With a bigger budget, or just lots of time (this game has been around a while, I am sure they have a huge update coming, and I can't wait!) I am sure the environments will become more detailed.

Faults: Some weapons are insanely overpowered, like I mentioned before, if your opponents have a staff, then you are screwed unless you judo throw them, which can be difficult to do. I found myself being poked to death on the ground a few more times than I would like to admit. To be fair, this is something that the player needs to learn to combat against, and I like that. Also, enemies can block INSANELY well, which makes getting an opening for an attack seemingly impossible at times. The only way I found to get around this was to block an attack from the enemy, and then counter it with one of my own. This method only really works against a single target however, and is difficult to fight multiple people. On a different topic, I believe that the music could be mixed a bit better into the gameplay. Usually you'll have blaring battle music come out of nowhere, and during a cutscene it will cut and become something entirely different. Also in the future I think that a more diverse sound track would make the game really pop.

Final Thoughts: I absolutely love this game, I really hope the developers come out with more content soon, especially since they are going to have a boost in funding from the sale that is active at the time of writing this. Definitely pick this one up and give it a try. If you suck at it, learn how to play it and beat up those bandits! The feeling of learning how to fight and crush your enemies is really a rewarding feeling, and a lot of games don't give you that reward aspect anymore.

TL;DR!: Buy this game! it is hard to learn at first, and has a few quirks in the combat system, but it is well worth the money.

This game is pretty well built for a board game and has a ton of interesting features for gameplay! I love the animations and everything seems pretty streamline. I think there are still a few kinks to work out of course, but overall this is a pretty polisdhed product.

Sometimes the game will hiccup, and I noticed multiple sound files would glitch and the right channel would go dead. Other than that, everything ran smooth. This may be due to hardware, but I have a relatively good setup and it should have no issues.

The only cons I can say about this game is that it isn't really friendly to new players. The AI can get sort of ruthless, and you can definitely tell the computer has a plan, and will stick to it till you fail. There was a time where I took over a city, and the bear character attacked me three times in a row. It's possible, except for the fact that I destroyed him the first two times, (thanks to the lucky dice rolls, which is another problem I would like to get into) and on the last, the computer had enough and just killed me.

As mentioned, this game is mostly chance. The only skill that is required of you is map movement, everything else is chance. Whether it be random ass spawning of enemies, or the cursed dice doing their thing. I sort of whish it was something more skill based than chance base. Sure, you can enforce strategies into the game, but they are so built on the chance factor (which often seems to be a 75% lodr 25% win ratio most times) that the strategies often fall apart.

TL;DR
Great game, with some minor polishing that needs to be done, and gameplay relies too much on chance.

CS:GO Review
I started playing this game three years ago, and man, what a ride. This game is ever evolving for me, because not only does valve make sure to keep it up to date with new maps and operations, but this game also keeps you on your toes in sense of gameplay. The only cons I have about this game is that the learning curb is extremely steep, and it can be rage inducing to say the least. Another thing I absolutely love about this game is the economy. If you try hard and have a knack for economics, dabbling in selling skins is probably something you would be interested in.

TL;DR:
This game is a lot of fun, but takes a lot to master.

For the people who say that virtual reality is just a gimmick, or that it'll pass like 3D TV's, I can definitely say they are wrong. With just a few days in the vive, I can see that it isn't meant to replace 2D gaming, it's meant to be a completely different way to game. Job simulator is only extra proof of this, and continues to be amazing after hours of play. I can wait to see what people develope for this new "console" and look forward to seeing how this technology improves even more over time.

This game is pretty unfinished, and I found myself to be pretty bored with what it had to offer.
