I've had this game since inception and I had the OG beamdog launcher version before it crapped out,
do not let the low hours fool you, I've had this game in one shape or another since 2000 in fact I still prefer 1 and 2 over 3.
Not that 3 is bad mind you, just a more personal connection to the character I made.
My favorite RPG of all time, and my second favorite game of all time, next to Mechwarrior 2 being my number 1.

As of 2022 all of a sudden Game just no longer launches just starts then crashes.
After playing it and owning it for years.


Update as of 2024 Game works again a missing DLL file which funny enough was needed to get HellDivers 2 to run.

Followed this guide and works fine again.

none of the games work bought the bundle and not a single game works it takes me to the steam store each time...waste of money.

I have thousands of hours poured into this over the years and own each one of it's expansions the mod community keeps this game alive. It's an amazing and my personal favorite RTS of all time. 10/10

Classic. If only there were more Multiplayer options and players.

Good attempt updates are few and far between but a good community and good revisit of a classic just the game no matter how well you dress it up still looks like a game from 2001/02

It's Skyrim but slightly less buggy and crashy

Loading Times the simulator by the way those three hours were waiting five minutes for the game to run on a 960evo M2 7700k 32gb and a 1080ti, the game never loaded one actual game not even once...I love Btech.
But this is horrible.

:Edit 11/22 New Heavy Metal Update added some optimizations game runs like a dream and it's great now!

One of the most authentic and fun tactical shooters I've ever played has a few bugs but the Dev team are always releasing hotfixes
