Makes ONE 12” long x 5 ½” wide loaf, or loaf pan filled with pullaparts, or can be used to make a cob.
If you want a smaller loaf, then adjust the amount of ingredients
according to the ratio of the LENGTH of your loaf pan compared to
12 inches.
Ingredients:
200 g Sourdough starter
350 g lukewarm water
525 g bread flour
12 g fine sea salt
** 250g shredded old cheddar cheese, if desired
** herbs, such as rosemary, sage, basil, work well with sourdough
** 2-4 jalapeños, if desired
Note that ingredients are given in weights, specific to the gram; you will need a proper kitchen scale. This is
important, as the precise relationship between liquid and dry ingredients affect the ability of sourdough to rise
properly in the allotted time. The ratio of liquid to dry is referred to as the sourdough’s “hydration” rate;
generally, a rate of 70% is preferable.
If it occurs, you will be warned, then additional occurrences will be dealt with at the discretion of modstaff. Thanks.

Amounts are not precise, you can add more or less to suit your taste
1 cup juice (grape or apple) -- add more if drink is too thick
Or 1/4 cup juice and 3/4 cup cold black or green tea
If using tea, make it the night before and let it cool
1 stalk of celery
1 cup of any leafy green vegetable (spinach or kale)
2-3 slices of ginger
1/2 or whole banana
Use a blender and blend until smooth
You can also add:
1 teaspoon peanut butter
1-2 tablespoons protein powder
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
Steamed broccoli or cauliflower (let it cool down before adding)
Cucumber or tomato or red pepper or avocado
Fresh cilantro or parsley or mint
Fresh pineapple or 1/4 cup pineapple juice
Fresh orange or 1/4 cup orange juice
If you add peach or plum, it will become thick
If you add berries, it tastes good but will turn brown
