An improvement on the series and a great look into what Arma 4 could be

gam is gud, TOS is a non issue, every mmo has it the same.

some performance issues which can but annoying but hey its Early Access (basically designed to iron these things out) its really fun, massive area, good loot distribution (you're not searching for hours just to find an empty box) and the PVE only mode is a godsend for players like me

So fun with some actually INNOVATIVE gameplay, amazing with friends and not too hard solo.
I've had a few connectivity problems and heard of people having other issues but that can be expected with a brand new release.

enjoying it very much even with just randoms, some issues here and there and a bit lacking in content but what do you expect? its early access

So just finished what there currently is of the main story (a few hours worth) and some side quests, and I'm pleased to say that I'm very much looking forward to future updates, the game as it is, is quite good though of course there are many bugs and glitches to be ironed out but the game FEELS good, like a mix of Skyrim and The Witcher, the story is good, mechanics are simple but satisfying and they've already said they're going to be adding more, overall i enjoyed whats there so far and will be eagerly watching out for major updates.

1.0 Update:

Absolutely fantastic so far, combat is challenging but not dark souls level of brutal, you can come back after some quests and better gear if you're struggling to beat a boss, one thing i love is that you can become overpowered for an area then when you move to the next you get challenged again, rather than having ALL the enemies just scale to you making your gear and stats basically useless like in many other similar games.

The amount of content is outstanding, ive only just moved to the second map after 30h (you can leave much earlier but the game makes you want to stay and explore) pretty much every quest so far has felt fresh and most give you multiple ways to complete it including giving you some difficult choices.

Theres still the occasional bug but nothing that has broken the game so far.

A few improvements i'd like to see are:

Expanding and improving the third person animations,

Improving the NPC interaction mechanic (currently you can only interact with most of them from the front),

Enemy projectiles, arrows and spells will be launched at your dash/dodge direction if you dash before the projectile is actually in the air, it makes them disproportionately difficult to dodge verses melee attacks,

SP (Stamina Points) indicator added to bows (currently it doesnt show how much SP it takes for a full draw so even though you may have the skill requirements, the bow may be basically unusable until you increase max SP.

ignore the hypocrites, it is a VERY good game
