Mad Game. Haven't played Story Mode, but online with mates and randoms is fun as. Watching pros and learning skills is very rewarding; though you can still get by through button mashing. 9/10.

An amazing game. I have played a bit of Dark Souls and all of Dark Souls 3 so i both enjoy and appreciate From Software titles. However, while feeling different in many aspects Sekiro, to me is better than the From Software games i have played thus far. The changes made to combat in which it relies more on the deflecting of blows and rhythmic system of attack, deflect and attack makes most encounters much smoother than prior From Software games and just as, if not more enjoyable. This applies to the boss fights too. Fights that epitomise the fluidity of Sekiro's combat are the second Genichiro fight, Corrupted and True Monk as well as both Owl encounters. These fights, though difficult, reward the player greatly for being able to deflect and return blows which results in a highly fluid, enjoyable and exhilarating fight. Even bosses with somewhat frustrating combos and power such as the Seven Spears of Ashina can be enjoyed as a challenge through careful planning and stealth like a true shinobi. Along with the combat, Sekiro's general aesthetic, level design, mechanics, characters and voice work all deserve praise as they contribute greatly to the overall polish of the game. The harsh, cunning, yet fatherly figure of Owl, the fierce Isshin who lives for combat and sake, The Sculptor; a reserved and tired man who has lived a life of battle, Genichiro; a devoted soldier above all else who is willing to defend his homeland by any means necessary. These are some of the characters that make up the compelling narrative and world of Sekiro. The Prosthetic Arm is also a welcome addition to the game, allowing for extremely diverse settings such as the Sunken Valley, Sempou temple and Fountainhead Palace; all beautiful areas that work so well due to the use of the Grappling Hook. The various Prosthetic weapons such as the shuriken, axe, Gyobu's spear and firecrackers add variety to normal encounters and boss fights alike. Overall, Sekiro is a great game that implements satisfying combat, incredible set pieces, compelling characters and fun boss fights to create an experience like none other. Worth the price.

TL:DR: Sekiro is a good game, buy it

I had this game back in 2013 and have had it on multipe computers and the 230 hrs i have do not justify how much i have played the game and let me tell you this game is as fun as it was back then if not more. I still have memories of my first pirate invasion and the constant deaths i recieved in the hope i would finally survive and the joy i had when i found my first sky island. Only a week ago did i relize that i had 3 sky islands on my world that were undiscovered and the nostalgia i felt when i saw that the chests all were locked by golden keys and hadnt changed for 5 years. I will always love this game and i hope that it keeps on inproving and recieving its well deserved praise. Apart from Warframe and the Souls series i cant think of many other games that have given me as much enjoyment as i have had playing this game. An incredible game.

I have been playing since near the beginning of the game and in my first hours thought the game was tedious. However that was a long time ago and i now believ this to be a stellar example of a game with devs that care about the game and its direction. 10/10 game would and have recommended to friends.

Edit- With the introduction of the Fortuna update, the game has more content than ever before and is as enjoyable if not more so
