The only game you're really ever going to need.

This is one of the few "Do anything you want" kind of games that actually kept me engaged. Sure it's held together by glue and Popsicle sticks sometimes using an engine developers should have stopped using ten years ago...but man what a beautiful monster they created with it. 10/10 would get my teeth kicked in by a bunch of Naruto wannabes again.

Me and my ex fell off a radio tower. I was brought back as some zombie thing and immediately get hot with the detective that has been trying to bust me for murder the entire game. 10/10 love story. Oh there's also aliens and the Illuminati or something.

I recently replayed this game to see if it's as frightening as I remembered. I'm glad to say, it still holds up despite my previous playthrough. It's a bit on the shorter side (I finished it in roughly 4 hours) but the brief ride it gives you is peak horror sometimes. Not all of the scares will stick, there are a few cheap jumpscares that get re-used way too many times, but it's oppressively dark and disturbing atmosphere holds up the whole way. The whistleblower DLC was a new experience for me and I found it just as scary and well done as the base game.
