When I saw everyone complaining about it crashing and running like crap I started to get worried. Updated drivers (Nvidias most recent update is NEEDED for Last of Us,) steam and restarted before download. Downloaded smooth, shaders took 20 mins and after that it loaded up fine. So far so good. Looks great, nice and smooth on high settings, temps are fine and no problems so far.

In case you're wondering, here are my specs.

Intel Core i7-12700K CPU
ASUS Rog Strix Z690-F Motherboard
ASUS ROG Strix LC II 240 ARGB AIO Cooler
EVGA GeForce 1080 ti FTW2 11 GB GPU
Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB DDR5 RAM
Corsair RMx850 80Plus Gold Power Supply
Samsung 980 PRO M.2 2280 1TB

Absolutely LOVE this game, its a hell of a lot of fun. Pretty much every game I play has taken a back seat to DOI since i bought it.
Its basically a remake of Day of Defeat with much more to offer. Additional classes like flamethrower and officers that can call in air strikes make this game a lot more fun. The success to this game is equally about strategy, and skill. Its not just a run around shoot em up game. Buy it on a steam sale and you wont go wrong.
Or you could drop 60 bucks on that steaming pile of repetitive horse sh** most people refer to as COD WWII. You know, if you want to pay more for less and be part of a toxic community consisting of nothing but frat boys and 12 year olds screaming racial slurs they dont even understand the meaning of. But if youre a normal human being who would like to ENJOY a video game, buy this one instead.

Far Cry 3 has by far reigned among my top 5 open world games, every aspect of this game is great; from the story; to the gameplay; the action, world and its mechanics. You are Jason Brody, a young man looking for an adventure while vacationing on a remote island with your closest friends. Yet you get more than what you bargained for, when your group is kidnapped by drug pedaling pirates to be sold to the underground world of slavery. Now its up to you to save your friends, bring peace back to this once pristine environment, and inspire hope to its native people. As you diverge from your expected path you become a true product of your new environment. You turn from a scared boy, to a ruthless warrior. Though be careful who you trust, for betrayal is lurking around every corner.

This game is like no other, the story missions are long and tough and the side missions are a blast. You must climb to the top of hundred foot radio towers to acquire maps, radar and weapons; liberate pirate outposts; learn the lay of the land; hunt its native creatures, both docile and ferocious; find its most precious and scarce relics; bounty hunt for the islands most wanted; and test your skills through vigorous timed trials. This enormous world has more than enough ways to spend your time. If you feel like taking a break from the fighting, go play some poker, place wagers on your marksmanship, throw knives, get laid, or race ATVs.

As you delve in to this chaotic world, you find all resources at the palm of your hand. Customize your weapons by adding scopes, extended magazines and suppressors. You can pick someone off from a mile away, shoot them in the back with your bow and arrow, slit someone's throat, or blow it all up! Every desirable weapon is available at your disposal; hand guns, shotguns, assault rifles, SMGs, LMGs, RPGs, C4 explosives, knives, even a f**king flamethrower; everything your twisted heart could desire! The question is, how will you save this world? As a silent assassin, or a gun toting juggernaut?

Choose who you wish to become by picking skills from three separate skill trees. You can chose to become a stealthy assassin, a long range killer, an unstoppable killing machine or all three. Will you learn how to shoot from a zip line, or how to silently ambush numerous enemies from atop and below? These skill will also help you become a better hunter-gatherer. Collect indigenous plants to craft potent remedies and abilities or learn to silently hunt a tiger or shark for its hide.

Like any good contemporary game, there is multiplayer along with coop. Fight with or against players across the world to complete objectives, sabotage each other's bases, go on missions, or just shoot each other up in death match. Be careful though, for the losing teams best player is to be made an example of. The winning team can chose to show mercy, or beat him to within an inch of his life.

So mount up! This world cannot be saved without your efforts. Just remember, trust no one. Not even yourself...
