Imperfect in many ways, but I love this game all the same. The community on PC is small but thanks to that we've all become very tight-knit, and we still manage to keep the game somewhat alive. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who wasn't committed though, since the game can have very empty queues at times

Gloriously rich in well thought out, meticulously detailed storyline and made vibrant with stunning graphics, Hollow Knight is a game that drew me in and held me tight. The content seems almost limitless, with a vast map to explore and many secrets to discover on your journey. If you are a completionist like me, you can expect to find upwards of 30 hours of content in this game, with more to come shortly when the new DLC is announced. Even the most casual player will find many hours of enjoyable content in this game. I cannot recommend it enough. However, I will say this: If you are looking for an easy game to while away the hours, this game is not for you. Bosses are hard, platforming is harder (some areas more than others), and there is no hand-holding. To use the phrase "Dark Souls of metroidvanias" would probably make me crnge hard enough to shrivel up, so i'll sum it up simply. The reward of this game is the result of the effort you put into it. The difficulty makes your accomplishments worth it, and although a fight may be gruelling the satisfaction you feel on completion is immense.

Quality game for the kleptomaniac, 10/10 for shiny stuff
