not had so much fun in an FPS than I have with this for as long as I can remember, can't recommend enough.

It's a lot more linear and the campaign map focuses on a key area (expanded and zoomed in on the empire states , your son is to kill the man who took your eye and burn your way there if need be, the mechanics are different that you're a horde so youre constantly moving only stopping for a few turns to replenish and recruit if necessary.
A massive key mechanic in this is that you can't occupy cities, can only raze them for favour (currency) or for your horde to grow. Makes for a lot faster campaing gameplay which I'm loving , feel like Che Guevara with the old hit and run tactics, the units themselves are all fairly speedy and the minotaurs are savage, chances are you'll ambush the enemy as well which are really fun for hitting on multiple sides against the enemy as that's your default stance on the campaign map.

I'm yet to try them online but as of now really enjoying them.

Only real gripe is the pricing, if you can, wait to the price drop, other than that I like it.
