Skyrim is definitely one of those games that will go on to stand the test of time time, much like it's predecessors; Oblivion and Morrowind. The ability to traverse the expansive landscape of Skyrim from the golden forests of the Rift to the snow-capped peaks of the mountains of Solitude to even the quiet surroundings of Falkreath, exploration is definitely key-aspects of this game that really kept me involved.

Combat is rewarding and immersive, so much that each block of your shield and swing of your sword will send a chill up your spine; magic however has a lot left to be desired.

The addOn content that was released after the intitial launch of the game is crisp and very much worth the money; although your best value will be in purchasing the Legendary Edition of the game if you want everything all at once.

I'd give this game a solid 9/10, were it not for the eventual reptitiveness of the game; something that could be remedied with mods if you do so desire.
