My rambling review:
This game was so much fun from start to finish, everything from the soundtrack and graphics to gameplay and level design is just fantastic, you can get so immersed in being the DOOM SLAYER - especially when you get to grips with the mechanics and balance of Chainsaw - Flamethrower - Execute to restore your ammo, armour and health respectively. I got all but one collectable because the last one was a right pain, so probs add on about 3 hours in secret hunting and level replays - maybe another hour because i got stuck at a few points and boom a 20 hour or so campaign with lots of lore if you want it but can skip over if you don't. Absolutely fantastic.

edit1: I played TAG1 the first week of March 2021 to give you an idea, as I know some things changed with certain updates. I think TAG1 was a fantastic addition to the series, the difficulty increased with the addition of turrets and whiplash spectres was great, and the blood makyrs were a pain the arse - a cross between the drones and the khan makyrs. The level designs were fantastic, a real difference from main campaign, especially the swamps.
There's the addition of spirits as well, which possess other demons and make them super-powered - they're definitely ones to prioritise, i found them more difficult than a buff token, demons are faster and stronger and chase you relentlessly, the possessed marauder was a lot of fun, can't believe I didn't die on that.
Once you kill the possessed demon the spirit is exposed and you have to microwave them with the plasma rifle, finally making that mod useful.
The final boss for TAG1 is pretty difficult, because you have to take out 2 spirit possessed demons before you do damage to him, i didn't struggle with the first round but the dread knight + pain elemental was difficult.

TAG2 was fantastic conclusion, i enjoyed the pacing and even more challenges - it built upon mini scenarios that it introduced in TAG1 where it'll spawn in like 30 of 1 type of demon, but with the ammo type that perfectly counters them. My favourite was walking into a room of like 50 boxes of shotgun ammo thinking OOO ITS ABOUT TO GET REAL and it spawned in loads of stone imps which you have to kill with auto shotgun, you don't even have to take your finger off the trigger for the whole encounter just run around picking up more ammo and keep smashing those imps.
Speaking of stone imps, they're 1 of three new enemies, others are cursed prowler - if it hits you you get 'cursed' can't dash and take damage over time, only way to break the curse is to blood punch the cursed prowler, a real challenge in the middle of a fight. Also armoured baron, break armour immediately when mace flashes green or gradually with plasma rifle then just shoot him til he dead before the armour regenerates.
There's also riot shield guys, they're easy, just soldiers who's shields don't break, shoot a rocket or grenade behind them and don't even blink twice. Last of all there's screechers, ambient zombies but if you kill them they empower all demons around them for like 20 or 30 seconds or something, AVOID, they're designed to throw you a curve ball of 'hey actually maybe don't shoot everything in front of you'. I love it.

I was a little disappointed with the dark lord's design, i didn't find him particularly imposing or intimidating, and the boss fight i thought was really easy for what is meant to be the real big bad - i struggled more on the icon of sin.

After all the original game and both DLCs I'll give it 9/10 overall.
