Up front, the concept of destroying large hordes of dinos with exo-suits sounds fun. I wish they just focused on that. This game feels like it's having an identity crisis. It wants to tell a story while having no actual campaign aside from a few events that feel like RNG things that just happen when the game starts. They give you these somewhat open areas but force you along a path. You only get 2 maps, City day/night and jungle cavern. Then they want it to be PVP but not PVP? Only in a few circumstances do you actually fight another team. The rest of the time you're just speed running along side them. Just separate the modes if you really want PVP. I came to detonate dinos with the boys in our fancy power armor. Why do we have to compete against another team when there is no real reason for it? The story reason is dumb and I'm going to completely ignore it. On top of that they throw in a battle pass, free and paid, and you don't even get all the suits. Well not without some grinding or paying for them outright. Something I could look past if they game itself was free but it's $60. I hope they can change it up. I like the game play and it looks good. I just wish they focused on the PVE, dinos vs power armor, over this weird MOBA but not a MOBA thing they're trying to do. Get it on a HEAVY sale if you really want it. Please don't pay full price for this, thing. You'll thank me later.

This game CAN be great but right now it isn't. Not worth full price, grab it on sale.

I really like the perk deck system and all the cards.
I like the look of the game, the environment, enemies, characters, weapons.
I like the game play, mostly.
I don't like how short it is. You can't hide those recycled levels from me Turtle.
I don't like how some weapons feel. Other games have done weapons way better. Just copy someone if you won't do a little research. You did my shotgun dirty. Any lag at all ruins single shot weapons.
Attachments are removable. They don't magically weld themselves to your weapon. So why can't I just move my attachments to the better rifle I just found?
Reign in the director. Ridden magically appearing behind me as I turn away gets old real quick. You can't convince me it doesn't do that. I've seen those buggers blink into existence in the corner of my eye as I turn away. Sometimes they just blink in right in front of me. My 360 no scope game be strong now though.

I feel it has a solid foundation but it needs some reinforcement and polish. If Turtle won't do it then they should give us the tools to do it.

Nah.
So many items to craft with, to bad I can't craft anything.
All these zombies to kill, to bad I can't get a weapon.
All of this food, to bad it's only a distraction.
I love how there's no limit to how much I can carry. It's great to horde all this ♥♥♥♥ I can't use. God help you if you walk into a safe house though. Say goodbye to all that loot.
No real objective besides go from point A to point B.
Focus on stealth only to extend your playtime so you can't refund it. Thank God I got it for free. Thanks Humble Bundle.
Awful UI, very little organization.
Slapped together with recycled assets with very little content. All at $30. A mighty hefty price for a mobile game.
Stay away. There are way better games to grab for $30 or less than this thing.
Went in interested, left disappointed.

bretty gud

Never experienced game breaking bugs or glitches, or really any for that matter. Although one time a pearlbird suddenly took flight up a mountain to escape hyenas. Honestly thought they were flightless, guess I was wrong.

Had one desync when playing with a friend online. He was stuck to the ceiling in a cave but strangely he could project himself and directly attack enemies with no repercussions. You become really hard to hit when your spider man and everyone is melee.

Combat is a little clunky not gonna lie. Once I got used to it everything was fine though. There are other games that have a far clunkier combat system. Give it some time and figure out how the posture thing works and you'll do fine. Fighting multiple enemies is kind of annoying but still doable. I recommend a one handed weapon with an off hand for more versatility. Traps are really good and easy to acquire. Get enough and you can lead some really scary enemies down corridors to their doom. I give traps a NotGay/10

The survival part is kind of unnecessary. What I mean is I eat and drink all the time to heal and apply buffs so I never really have to worry about eating or drinking. I do like the camping system. From having a variety of tents that provide different bonuses, to allocating time to rest and heal, repair your gear, and keeping watch for all the things that go bump in the night so you don't get ambushed.

No levels here, but instead we have skill trainers. Ranging from weapon skills or magic spells to passive things like being more resistant to the weather, or having higher health, mana, stamina. Do be careful as your a only allowed 3 "break throughs." Meaning you can only learn advanced stuff from 3 trainers. Maybe you can get more maybe not, I haven't found a way to get more so maybe not.

Traveling can get a bit annoying and the world does feel a little "empty." There are a some cool places and things to find and I like how the game looks. There are a few places though that feel unfinished. One such place would be the pylon in Cheronese. There was also this cave along the beach. I walked in and was greeted by a pool of water and a couple of large sea shells. That was it, no idea why it was there other than a nice little place. Maybe it was just a safe place to rest I dunno.
The world also feels kind of dead. Few characters talk and they always say the same thing. No one reacts to anything. I almost forgot there was some voice acting. I didn't like it so I turned voices off.

As far as story goes I actually haven't done much of it. I've spent my time wandering around, picking fights with bandits and monsters, losing, getting lost after waking up, getting slowed down because I carry to much loot, finally finding a trader, making some sweet money, getting properly equipped, hunting down the monster that started it all, fighting that bastard in a glorious, totally fair, not cheesy at all battle, (traps are great) and finally making it back home with even more loot. So I can't judge the story since I've been doing pretty much everything but the story.

I can't say I'd recommend magic but then again I haven't really gotten into it. Alchemy and cooking is super useful, I'd recommend memorizing some recipes. You don't need to unlock a recipe to use it which was a really nice touch, this goes for weapons to.

Worth $40? That's a no from me, but I would recommend it on a sale of about... $20.

Maybe if we got some more content, or maybe modding tools? Workshop support? Games got potential but it isn't there yet.

Yeah the story bombed just as hard if not harder than no man's sky. Luckily I can look past that and enjoy the gameplay which I found to be really fun even if its repetitive.
The gunplay felt nice but sounded a little weak, vehicles handled decently, aircraft controls felt dumbed down, particularly for the helicopter but it just let me gun more cultists down easier so not to bad.
Progression was nicely paced and easy to do in regards to skills and money. Story wise who cares.
Not worth full price but on sale I'd recommend you pick it up so long as you can ignore the story and enjoy killing things.
