i remember buying this game when i got my htc vive a few months after the hmds launch

very nice to see it still alive, and cared for by the best soundchecker out there
well worth your time, even has mods as if antons constant updating wasnt enough

a true vr sandbox that is actually a sandbox and is actually fun

I went in with high expectations after a 13 year gap from the last Half-Life title, and was met with a game that went beyond those expectations. Half-Life: Alyx is not only a beautiful game, but also a outstanding addition to the series. I understand that a majority may not have access to the game due to the VR exclusivity, but its a small (pretty big) price to pay for the eventual continuation of the series.

The mechanics work great, the gravity gloves are satisfying, fun and easy to use. At first they feel awkward, but once you go for the third or fourth grab it feels natural and you find yourself throwing around every object you can get your hands on. The combat is good, but is not without its flaws. Some fights with the combine and antlions can feel slow and kind of clunky as you get deeper into the game, but its enjoyable in its current state.

The VALVe charm is still present in NPC encounters, with characters like Russell, Larry, Jeff, Eli, and a very specific Vort. The dialogue between Russell and Alyx isn't overdone and it seems to be in just the right amount during gameplay.

SPOILERS FOR THE ENDING AHEAD
Well, they did it. They soft confirmed HL3 right in our faces, although at the cost of a ret-con of the end of EP2, its a price i'm willing to pay.

Overall fantastic game, VALVe has done it once again. Although there are some issues with left handed gameplay, would recomend to any HMD owner.

Edit: 8 months later, the workshop doesn't dissapoint. Still crying over Half-Life 3 being confirmed, but this has to be my GOTY for the next decade.

The community however, is not.
Don't get me wrong here, CS:GO is considered a world-wide phenomenon and widely popular eSport. It's a masterpiece of tactical gameplay and skill, blended together to make this wonderful abomination.

Every part of the game is perfect except for the community.
The toxic , gross , and rude people.
Not every match is horrible but the good majority is, leaving players like me to fear the worst.
I began to slowly stop playing on any accounts I had, because at first you take the ♥♥♥♥ slow and nice but it piles up and becomes old fast. Silver is ridden full of trolls, hackers and ♥♥♥♥♥ and the higher you go the less toxic people get but the original input from Silver rises like hot air and will eventually make it to your game.
I love you VALVe, and everything you've done to push this.
I just wish they'd all dissapear. I'm not here to complain about hackers. I haven't found any in the past.

Terraria withstood the test of time.
It gets updated, not regularly but every once in a while.
They manage to keep the content fresh, with new items, and events.
It seems as if the game was made to last.
I would give it two ratings:
Singeplayer: 8.7/10 - Fun, you can do mostly everything yourself. but its tedious and sometimes lonely.
Multiplayer: 9.5/10 - With friends this game bumps up immensely. Multiple people multiply the fun factor, especially with 4 peope in one server.
Overall I would say this is a solid game to buy if you're looking for something to play alone, or with friends.

This is a very good game. I've never seen anything like it!
