I'm and old school gamer, techie, and uber-nerd, that has only recently gotten around to using Steam.

I prefer real-time strategy games, survival games, and space flight sim or 4x games. I don't often do mutli-player, but if I do, I prefer team or collaborative games.

Most of my computers being "rescues" or salvaged and cobbled together from parts cannibalized from other machines. I do know how to keep them going for a long time, and I have one computer that is now 11 years old and still running! (You remember the single core days, don't you?)
