Shadow Generations is very fun! The hub world has many things to find and the gameplay is fun, even if it's not very difficult. The boss fights are pretty good too! I love the journal pages that can be collected, it's great to see this franchise's lore again.

I very much enjoyed Shadow Generations despite being skeptical of the quality of Boost-formula Sonic games. My only criticism is that turning in midair *when not in a ball* is slow (I'd prefer the way it is in Adventure 2), but midair turning while in a ball is fine (but not as good as in Adventure 2). I'd also love to see more areas where the camera doesn't face the direction you need to go in 3D sections (like a few sections in Adventure 2) so you can move the joystick left or right instead of just moving forward all the time.
