Shadow Generations is very fun! The hub world has many things to find and the gameplay is fun, even if it's not very difficult. The boss fights are pretty good too! I love the journal pages that can be collected, it's great to see this franchise's lore again.

I very much enjoyed Shadow Generations despite being skeptical of the quality of Boost-formula Sonic games. My only criticism is that turning in midair *when not in a ball* is slow (I'd prefer the way it is in Adventure 2), but midair turning while in a ball is fine (but not as good as in Adventure 2). I'd also love to see more areas where the camera doesn't face the direction you need to go in 3D sections (like a few sections in Adventure 2) so you can move the joystick left or right instead of just moving forward all the time.

This game is meant to be repeatedly replayed and is a score-attack game with a high skill ceiling, rewarding the player for good gameplay. There is more to this game than its story mode; each stage has 4 extra missions to test the player's skills (with a ranking system), meaning those who stop playing after the credits will miss a significant portion of this game's content.

My family has owned this game on Gamecube since I was 1 year old. My sibling and I share a save file which has over 350 hours of playtime, over 500 versus matches played, and is 100% completed.

Many bad reviews can be boiled down to, "I wasn't immediately good at this game and gave up on it. I gave up on learning how to ride a bicycle because that also takes time and practice to become good at!" or "Why don't the characters immediately recognize the dark figure, in the darkness, with a similar silhouette and skill-set to another established character, and instead mistake him for the character he resembles? It makes no sense!"

I'm not someone who enjoys colony management stuff, but Farworld Pioneers executes it in a way that's fun! Instead of the focus being on the colonists, it's on you, the leader, the commander, the cool dude in the center flanked by seven other guys. The sprites are amazing, the music is awesome, the controls are fluid, and there's all sorts of neat items to be found, from badass laser guns that feel great to use to things like double-jump boots. I've been playing this constantly since I got it.

Amazing job on defining what it means to make mods for a game! The TML team has united the Terrarian community.

It's a very good game! It reminds me of those old superhero cartoons, like the early Batman cartoons.

T'is a very nice game indeed. Very moddable and customizable.
