15 years of time and 3 years of play-testing and somehow its worse than if you just copy/pasted the engine from skate 3 and made the graphics better. that's what i would've considered lazy, this is like actively spitting in the face of people who loved the previous games. I'm happy to play skate again, i want a skate game again, which it does feel like. But It's extremely disappointing that they seem focused on monetization rather than missing gameplay features that were in the Xbox 360 game 15 years ago that they appear to be putting behind paywalls now.. Darkslides, board wear and tear. I understand its early access but you cant say that then add a paid shop. Would be nice for an offline option since you cant seem to really do much with others. No games of skate, no skate vibes. Just a bland, almost pretend version of what it used to be. Even the voice overs sound bored most of the time. Just saw that they plan to add darkslides in season three, meanwhile the season pass will be coming soon. not a great sign.
