Really good game. Darkwood is story driven horror (mystery) survival game. Haven't finished game yet, but it seems to have multiple playthrough. For casual gamer this might look a hard game, it has a learning curve, but for real gamer this won't be too easy either.

Story: For first timers game recommends to complete the prologue. I recommend to do it too, this is there the story starts. As you play the game you will uncover game story thru various things, Npc characters, items, landmarks and other.

Art style looks simple and interesting it really manages to create unique mysterious atmosphere. For more immersion I suggest leaving all game sounds on.

Game has a combat system. I think this game has one downside that you cannot use your fists to fight, you need some kind of a weapon to do it. Weapon selection is enough for such game, you can use melee, ranged, throwable weapons and even traps.

Controls: At first controls might look a bit flimsy, but you will get used quickly. It's possible to rebind in game controls.

Game is not overpriced, it's an easy grab during sale.

A fine strategy game, still needs some improvements and that is what devs are currently doing. Current rating at round 8/10.
