I love this game, very cozy and easy to get immersed. Replayed several times. I also highly recommend taking advantage of the excellent modding scene.

Surprisingly even more fun than the original. The 3D environment allows for much more chaos and freedom of movement, leading to more exciting battles. The bosses are much more like "bosses" now, rather than just large enemies - fighting the magma worm had me legitimately terrified (that is, up until he caught me off guard and crushed me from above).

Looking forward to the full release!

Super unique gameplay with a cozy, cartoonish art style - everything complements the game perfectly. Definitely worth a try if you are at all interested in either Tower-Defense games or RPG's. There's plenty of characters to try and master (including cool, game-changing DLC characters), many different towers to build and choose from, and tons of loot to build up your character alongside your defenses. The best part of the experience (especially with friends) is deciding how you want to play: a dedicated tower-builder, a damage-dealing speed demon, a support character boosting up defenses and players around you, or all of the above and more!

All of this plus a community dev team that continues to provide updates well after the game has been succeeded, meaning more maps and items to try and work towards! A wonderful game to sink plenty of time into and wonder where it went later.

I would also like to recommend this game over the second installment, simply because something about the original just gives you a nicer feeling of progression and enjoyment. I played DD2 in alpha so maybe it has significantly changed, but I could not get into it as much as I could the first game.

CS:GO Review
Even now, still the best point-and-click game I've ever played

Very entertaining and time consuming action game. This is a 2D Retro top-down dungeon crawler with an extremely large dungeon for you to explore. There is a limiting factor, however, in that every playthrough is based upon that same dungeon. But this doesn't stop the game from still being very fun. There are 4 distinct classes to play as, and they each unlock different paths and methods of playing the game, so yet another piece in prolonging gameplay. Lastly, and favored mostly by me, is the level editor, which basically contains as much power as dev tools. It can be a bit confusing at first, and I still have trouble figuring out how to do some things, but it is very possible to continue on with experience. All in all, I highly recommend this game (especially if you get a deal on it) to anyone who likes fast-paced action games. 8.5/10

A great game, definitely recommend - 9/10
I for one have never played Dwarf Fortress, but many say it is a similar (almost identical) concept. However, I looked online and this game seems to have nearly all of those features and more, including actual graphics, and it is still an Early Access game. If you are looking for a fun way to relax, then buy this game. I got it for $2.00 on sale, and I have already played this game more than some $40 games I own. Sit back, manage a kingdom, and have fun!

Really amazing game to play by yourself, or with friends. The fact that I can keep coming back to this game and enjoy it is just awesome, not many games can do that. Since I have owned this game since something like 2007, I will say and continue to say that I love it.
