awesome game rome 1 was ages ahead of competition 5/5. rome 2 was broken on release 1/5 but saw some amazing dev and community (mod) updates 5/5. Rome II used to work on mac but it is no longer supported making the game completely unplayable (for mac owners like me) back to 1/5.

Total war is a fun game, but the DLC policy sucks. Be ready to pay $ for factions.
The maps in the base game are also hot trash. The mod maps are beautiful and fun to play.
Overall good game, but expensive would change my review to an 8 or a 9 if the base maps weren't bad and repetitive 7/10
