I'm only 3 hours in, but so far, I feel like this is the closest any game has gotten to a traditional table-top D&D experience yet. Even as a huge fan of the original Baldur's Gate series, I'd say this has the opportunity to one-up them. I've played about 15 hours of Baldur's Gate 3, and I'm liking this game more. It would be nice if the town was more populated and felt more like a town, but other than that, I'm highly enjoying this implementation of the 5E ruleset. I came across this by accident as a suggested game on Steam. I don't know why I hadn't heard anything about it before now, but it deserves more hype.

It's been a LONG time since I've played SC2 (I played it when it first released), so I don't recall much of it other than it was one of my favorites at the time. After all these years, I don't feel swayed by my feelings for it, and can say I enjoyed Origins quite a bit. It was a nice "arcadey" shooter with exploration (albeit a little repetitive), funny dialogue and likeable characters. I was entertained the entire 22 hours it took me to beat it, and that's all I really want out of a game.
