I paid for the complete DLC package for the usual price for the base game. I definitely wouldn't recommend you buy this game otherwise; the full game + DLC's is only worth €39.99 at most.

Helldivers 2 has a great reputation and massive playerbase. Now, SONY forces the devs to roll out an update that will require everyone playing to have a PlayStation Network account connected. The only previous mention of this requirement is a small box on Steam. Over 100 countries cannot make a PSN account. Some countries require a government ID to make one. EULA never directly mentioned a PSN account requirement. PlayStation silently changed their policy in regards to PSN account requirements on PC. PlayStation is infamous for data breaches and spam mails. The Helldivers community manager downplayed the entire situation and describes it as "just a 2 minute process;" it is highly possible that the "graceperiod" was just to avoid mass refunds from unsupported countries. People running defence for SONY downplaying the whole situation as "just PC players seething and overreacting for no reason"

Edit: less than 24 hours of writing this, Sony backed down. I'll take this as a win for Democracy.

Game is in remarkably good condition despite being in early access. Way better than its inspiration, would recommend for anyone who's played Ark: Survival Evolved or Rust, as its a similar flavour.
