New BUGS, Old Game.

As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a gangster.

A brilliant and Immersive world, that begs to be uncovered.

You play an angelic figure, whose memory is wiped, and is being plunged from the sky. And you awake, Into a cyber noire world, which mysteries: Ancient, political, interpersonal, and fanatical await.

What you need to know about this game, is its followers:
It is so varied, that it feels as though anyone you meet could be a potential follower. I for instance found a little girl amongst the rubble of some dilapidated building, I gave her a knife and am now attempting to teach her how to stab people.

There are 6 followers in total that you can take on your journey. 6 may not seem much, but every character is so well written that you'll feel spoiled for choice.

The action is turn based, and can be a little intimidating at times. But the challenge is half of the fun.

All in all, you should Buy it.

1st game to introduce a form of Team Takeover. In the form of the 'Juice Meter', where you and your scripted teammate 'Justice Young' become heightened in skill, and switchable at any moment the TO is active.

The 'juice meter' is very good, and almost preferable considering how (24) current 2K's release system is. In this game you only have two people to account for, which is waaaay more manageable. But not particularly a concern in this Gen.

It was a good feature. Unfortunately, not as good as TO in future Teen2k games. But because of it, this was the first game I really considered utilising my team-mates. Especially Denver.

The contact system in this game is SORELY MISSED. It felt like your player had REAL connections around the league. Meeting connections 3 times to get special rewards, and Jerseys for your place, as-well as inviting them over.

No 'The City' BS, or any other unnecessary fluffing. Simply a game filled with charm.

This was pre-sellout. Very noticeable if you recall the immediate fall-off, with 18's shameless marketing and cosmetic pricing.

I recommend 17 over 16. A more modern game, with a still fair attribute distribution, and the last one with a playable offline narrative.

P.S RIP Rough Riders and 'The Foundry' Best park of all 2Ks.

No Team takeover, but great story. The story lasts a season, with residual in game interviews. So it is very front heavy in that aspect.

Where as 2k14 (not available on pc) and 17 are less dramatic for sure, they set up a better context for continuing the career; For the fact that there are tailored player(s) set up to have careers alongside your own.

Very enjoyable, and as it pertains to Gameplay. Your player has a wealth of in-game ability, no matter the size.

They started to crack down on demigods after complaints in 15, but BIGS don't feel hindered TOO much until 18-19, then the concept of fun was completely decimated 20 and onwards.

I recommend 17 more so than 16, but 16 is a must-play. Spike-Lee was a treat. Last time 2K would go out of it's way to do anything for it's players.

My god those sims are ugly! But... it's what's on the inside that counts.

A good game; That still somehow has it's own website up, all these years later.

It's the Best one.

If you value your lives (and your sanity), you will build your base on the top of a tiny rock off the coast.

The gameplay is devoured by insatiable hunger. Imagine spending an eternity buying groceries.

That in sum, is the chore we're dealing with here. Simply not fun.
