From a person who enjoyed the madness combat series as a whole, from the very beginning, this is probably the best homage you can give to an iconic flash series, and I can really appreciate the nostalgia trip I had playing this game, along with continuing to play this game.

I am hoping they keep it going, while expanding new ideas and weapons brought on by the fandom that kept madness combat alive for this long. I remember I used to play the flash game and the many mods people made for it, spending hours upon hours playing the 7+ mods I had set up, trying the weapons that people brought to the plate, to give me that action fix and wanting of a full-blown world of this universe and everything it has to offer. As of now, I got to say this quells that thirst for now, but I am looking forward to see it expand even more.

Satisfactory...A game I have been eyeing for the longest time now, but have been itching for it to come to steam. Coming from playing many hours of Factorio and Space Engineers, this game gives you that scratch you all have been wanting for, in terms of factory making/ sandbox crafting anyways.

I think the one thing that I love about this game so far is that how easy the controls are and straight forward it is to start making your factory, until it slowly progresses you into more and more advanced things to make. If I would recommend a game for people to START with when it comes to factory-making games, I would definitely recommend Satisfactory for just that, so you will get the feel of making factories, not just in general, but in terms of efficiency the more you play it, until you wish to hit the other games in the same/similar aspect. Another feature I love about this game is that since being a first-person game, and not a top-down, is that they embrace you to make your factory in levels, like a giant skyscraper of a manufacturing plant, which I am excited to try out and experiment with.

If I ever needed to critique anything when it comes to this game, though, I would say the confusing part would be leveling up your main hub for your research of technology/crafting/box of storage, since if you are trying to terraform your land, before laying out your factory in a certain matter, you really need a few hub upgrades to actually be able to access the foundation flooring to do so, which will take you a bit of crafting to do so. There are also the part early on where you are missing the keystones to start your factory, which will throw you off as well, which you will find out, once again, more researching to get those keystones to begin your journey to making your factory.

All in all, highly recommending this game so far, hope to see you all in the game.

Nioh, A game acclaimed by many for its quests, challenges, replayability, gear (if you are into armor and gear from feudal japan), and the satisfaction to annihilate demons from tales of old, and hated, for the comparision of it with dark souls, when dark souls pretty much set the standard for games that are similar in style, and learning curve it may bring.

This is a game I have quite enjoyed for the longest time, and I keep coming back to, just to climb higher and higher up the ladder to get up there to those who are nearly considered good at the game. I come back for its combat, atmosphere, and graphics (moreso if you clean it up more using re:shade).

When you begin the game, you are mainly thrown in the midst of it, not knowing what you need to do, which sets the bar on high of an (oh crap, this is going to be a hard game), but after the first mission, heading into the 2nd, you begin to adapt more and more, from fleshing out what kind of build you may want to be, either weapon wise or what other options you are brought upon, to what kind of armor class you wish to run around in. The one thing I learned playing this game is that when you hit the higher difficulties, that's when you should really attempt to fully realize your build, since you are going to be seeing a lot of gear that seems really mundane for you.

I must admit there are some stupid moments where I get hit by a backhit from a monster, or some other thing that gets me killed in a dumb way, and others where I am in a area I thought was low enough for my level, but if it is a level with a boss in, about double that if you wish to kill them, but that is what punishment in this game is, a never endless cycle of dying and learning and dying again, got to learn to adapt and overcome. To you out there that are skeptical or wish to NOT recommend this game, instead of comparing it to a game that set the bar, try to see this game for what it is, and not for what it is expected to be bar-wise.

Also, if you are stuck in an area, you are always welcome to get help from others, via online play by torii gate (which is how you online play), or the bodies of dead players, who can help equip you with their items, so you can advance further, and work out what you want build-wise in the future of playing this game.

I highly recommend this game for the sake of the combat, being a sucker for medieval era-esque armor, weapons and the like, and the art style/graphics that you experience and take in when you play this game. Like all the others who recommended this game, hope to see you in the game, and lets kill us some yokai.

Out of all the games I play, this has got to be the one I come back to the most, after many times I get burnt out due to sheer repetitiveness, it just keeps sucking me back in.

This is warframe, a game of being a cybernetic organism/ cybernetic assassin/ being a frame of metal, bred for war.

Here you will find many places to explore, many challenges to uphold, and many places to conquer and call yours.

Also includes many weapons to do just that, along with many cosmetics that you can obtain along the way to make your frame unique unlike anyone elses.

Some may call this a P2W game for many stupid reasons, but I can assure you this is 100% the opposite, anything cash oriented is purely fashion, hence why this game is normally nicknamed "fashion frame" to begin with.

I also must digress that when you hit a certain level (mastery levels, which basically show where you are at total level wise, to be able to use higher tier/ stronger and more diverse weaponry.) the wear will kick in, and you will feel how repetitive it could be, but if you are like me, that is okay. It is okay for the fact that even though there is so much to do, so many things to level and so on, you will come back for more, and be astounded by the beauty of this game once again.

That is why I can deeply stress that this game is a game you will want to give a shot, for not just its amazing features, and graphics, but that it is a game that sets new things to the table that will bring you back for more. 10/10 .

Being part of this game since it's beta on gface. I would've recommended it at the time when it was still in its haydays, but due to how far it has gone downhill since then, I can only recommend this game for those to try as something new.

So, let me break it down in the pros and cons:

PROS:

This game is moderately fast paced, but not fast compared to other games I have played in my lifetime.

High quality models, textures, and fairly high quality sound.

A moderate selection of armor/weapons to match your playstyle, with whichever class you have chosen to play as your main class.

You have a choice to put attachments on your weapons on-the-fly using the C button (or whichever button you mapped it to).

Interesting maps to explore, pvp and pve.

A system similar to COD, where if you do certain achievements, you can unlock medals/patches/backrounds to have with your name/profile picture.

A series of interesting seasonal/event items.

The ability to slide, which I would have to see as this game being unique in that aspect, before other games started to adopt this feature into their games years later.

CONS:

When you level to level 12, you find out that all of your weapons will not be able to dent an enemy, unless you learn to aim for the head all the time. You will need to unlock armor, and better weaponry stat, just so you can find any miniscule of chance to attempt to match against people higher then level 12. This makes the skill curve for this game in the levels of the downright stupid the second you hit that level.

The feature to repair your items that degrade through time. Since beta the struggle required a bit of grinding just to achieve enough money to repair your items, and another trick being buying the same item to increase its durability, which I saw a ton of people doing back then, just to attempt to save money. Nowadays, you need to do every single daily bonus just to have adequate money to repair your gear, with no extra money to really get you through to try a new weapon, unless you grind for hours on top of that.

The fact back in beta there were a ton of people who DID hack or boosted for their respective levels, by making private rooms and farming off of eachother for exp/money and whatnot.

The sole fact that back then, most of the "good" weapons like the karkov and such were capsule weapons, meaning YOU NEEDED TO USE CASH TO OBTAIN THE MOST BROKEN/OVERPOWERED WEAPONS IN THE GAME. Nowadays it is not as bad, due to rebalancing of most weapons, but the tradeoff is that there are a ton of weapons severely nerfed for no reason now. There are still a few weapons that are capsule weapons, however, but many of them aren't severely overpowered compared to their regular counterpart whatsoever.

The fact that even since back then, there hasn't been a server for SA, or proper optimization for NA server, so the people in the western part of the US aren't 1-2 bar like everyone else, but people in the east and in canada can have shining full bars.

The fact that the insane forms of harassment/racism/ and cheating that has been going on before, and after the transferring of publishers is apalling, and reporting/sending in a ticket/recordings/pictures do not seem to do a dent to these people, making it seem that me, or anyone else who have done the same thing feel that the staff are actually listening to the community, or investigating any problems or concerns people have had in the past/present/ and future.
To add insult to injury, most of these people are these said "p2w" people, who buy VIP on a regular basis to max, which is pretty much the whole sense that they have "immunity" if they throw any form of cash at you, the devs, just so they can get away with things such as this. The problem is that this isn't just an issue for just this game, but any other game that has a p2w feature to date, which is downright wrong in itself.

The removal of most maps during the transition from crytek to my.com. (Where is farm?)

The hit registration/hitmarkers. (You can shoot a person in the forehead, many times over, and it will not reg for the life of you, you have to literally shoot them right in the face, just to get that well-deserved headshot.) (There is also a bug/issue where you can shoot a person point blank, and the shot will just penetrate through them, with no registration at all, but it sure registered well on the wall/object behind them.)

The fact that the lack of community makes most game modes unplayable to begin with, and grinding for money is more of a daily chore, then anything, seeing how nowadays Co-op seems to be everyones staple to get money, and not a good ol' plant the bomb. (My personal favorite is TDM, but doing an hour for a measly 5k? Not worth the time.)

Anyways, as there may be more PROS or CONS I may have not have listed here, that I may wish to add in the future, my final verdict is that I cannot recommend the game in the state it is now.

This game had awesome potential, and I personally come on it every few days for a run of shooting people, but it is not a game I can overall recommend to those that are looking for an FPS to actually call home, until a comback happens.

If you have any further questions of this game, do not hesitate to message me, also, this review may change depending on how the state of the game goes, but as for now, I can't recommend this game as a keeper, but as something to compare and contrast with my pros/cons, and every other person on the negative side of this list, as well as trying it to have first-hand view of the potential this game has.
