Bought it. Didn't get to play due to non-existent local-coop.

Quite frankly, screw this game.

It's literally a waste of time. You'll spend your time building your money makers and then restarting with more angels that provide you +% to your income.
However since they keep adding more and more impossible-to-reach content and impossible-to-reach achievements it's not worth it...

... Unless you feel like turning your OS clock forwards to achieve income you otherwise have to wait months for, good luck ever getting anywhere with this "game".

I've spent 200+ hours more or less waiting to get to 4100 news papers to get a boost of income in earth. Even when I'll get there if I ever do, it's doubtful it would speed up my process to the next step. So another 200+ hours building up more angels for nothing.

I played through this game before as co-op, before achievements.
Now after opening the game the first time after enchanted edition and gathering all the achievements, here's my view:

Game is awesome. As it was, as it will be.
The atmosphere is amazing. The visuals and bgm just go hand-to-hand so perfect there's no question you'll immerse yourself in this game the moment you open it.

However it's MUCH shorter than I remembered. I 100%'d the game in about 2-3 hours.

Anyways, get it.

This game feels more like a mini-game.
However there is something very engaging.

Granted the game has balancing issues and success relies heavily on RNG. I would still go to say I enjoyed this game much more than a lot of other games I've played, as weird as it sounds.
I was aiming to get all the achievements and it took me 11 hours to even finish the first dungeon.

I kept head butting myself to certain monsters without realizing the full potential of my characters... and only later to find myself in 'shop', using the in-game rewarded gold to buy myself a few more characters and starting weapons.
However, after unlocking most of the characters it was a very joyful ride.

There is still more to play even after unlocking the achievements -- a dungeon or two and a side quest or two.

Not sure if I would pay 7€ for this game, but if it's on sale... Go for it.

Wanted to 100% this before writing anything up.

This one took me 273 hours, 10 hours less than the original.
However considering the 283 to 100% + 11 hours in the original, I already had experience with a lot of it.

Rebirth hit a home run.
It's an enhanced edition of the original worth every penny. Hell, worth a triple-A title of 60 dollars if you ask me.
Any and all additions compared to the first game made an impact in the game that stayed all the way.

It is a solid new-same game with very few weak points.
I admit I wasted about half my playing time to The Lost and its achievements, after reading up how to even unlock this character.
I still think it was worth it, and I recommend this game to everyone.

It's addicting and easy, yet challenging after you get to know items and how to approach different situations.
Can't wait for the expansion...

My initial review on the game to a buddy was this:

"I like it. It's simple, maybe a bit repetitive. But atmosphere and main story done great."

However after about 6 more hours of play, going around for artifacts and different vengeance quests and whatnot, I can tell you that no, it's far from repetitive. Or simple.
I actually just ended up doing more of the main mission after having killed the first warchiefs at the pretty beginning of my playthrough.
I had a feeling "is that it?", but now I know there is more. I only just entered a new area, where I will have new towers and areas to explore, while still being able to travel back to the first areas. I hope with this new map I will have more of a challenge with captains or whatever comes my way.

The first thing that I noticed when starting the game was that the system with elite monsters (captains...) is great. Power levels, weaknesses, strengths and changes to those vary the gameplay for each and everyone of us. It's an amazing mechanism.

I'm a little over powered at the moment because I thought I'd just be doing stuff in the first place, so I've almost opened up all of my abilities too already. Still, the game is far from boring.
I keep changing my approach to missions and using weaknesses and strengths of elite monsters all the time.

Even though the story doesn't seem like it's something ground breaking, never-before-seen, I still get chills whenever a cut scene happens.

I can full-heartedly recommend this game to any and all open-world, RPG liking players.
Especially ones that enjoy Assassin's Creed / Batman Arkham -like parkourish and free gameplay.

Recommended.

Why?

-- Great storyline
-- Great characters, in-depth, interesting, fun
-- Awesome and lots of gameplay
-- Online activities

It's not like "new gen" suddenly means real life graphics, unseen storyline and characters and gameplay, but to me this game delivers in all aspects. I've progressed about 67% of the game (Deluxe Edition) and can recommend it to anyone who likes (open world) games.

Naturally these days with any game that includes DRM, online activities or so, have problems. As did Watch_Dogs... For the first few days. Since then, logging into uPlay has been flawless and I have no complaints.

I see a lot of complaining about bugs, crashes and other issues. Running an i7 3930k and (crossfired) 7870HD GPUs I've played this game about 40 hours and loved it all.
And although crossfire reduces performance in this particular game the last I tested, I'm still getting a solid 60fps playing with a single GPU.
