Being someone who does lacks the time to properly commit to the majority of the video games that I buy, I have to decide which games I want to invest time into.

Though quite hesitant about getting this game in the beginning due to my lack of a controller (that many reviews suggested for improving quality of life), I bought it in hopes that it would be an immersive enough game to trudge through with a mouse and keyboard. I'm happy to say that from the first few hours of playing the game, I was hooked.

In fact, the game was so incredibly beautiful (in terms of soundtrack, graphics and game mechanics) that I was moved to buy myself a controller. Though, I would definitely suggest playing this game with a controller for maximal control. The story line, or lack thereof was what made it for me--I loved exploring the many corners of this game as there were just SO many things to find. From hidden charm combinations to secret rooms reachable only after obtaining new skills, Hollow Knight has you exploring the world not once, not twice, but many times over.

I would rate this game a 9.5/10! One of the best games I have ever played.

When I first bought this I thought it was going to be kind of boring, but when I started playing it I was hooked right from the start! If you are thinking of buying it, do EET!
