A fun game with an interesting story.

The management side of things is straightforward enough, yet it still requires some thought. There is quite a bit of forgiveness for mistakes.

The story was great - better than I expected. It kept me thoroughly engaged in the game.

There are a couple of bugs in the dialog options where the text didn't fit with what had happened, but there was nothing major or game-breaking.

Overall, I'd strongly recommend this to anyone who likes narrative-driven decision games, with a side of management.

An excellent game. It certainly has some anime weirdness, but don't let that put you off. There is great voice acting and sound design, though it is the story and its telling which make this game so good.

I recommend against this game as the AI is terrible. I've played several games and won all of them by a large margin. The AI team failed to make their bid on 5 out of 6 rounds. This isn't because I'm particularly good at the game, just that the AI constantly makes terrible decisions - I could believe the bots are just playing any random card that's allowed by the rules.

The rest of the game is simplistic but serviceable - it's just the AI that prevents me from enjoying the game.

I'll return to playing free online versions when I want to play Spades.

An excellent conclusion to the trilogy (play both the Nonary games before this one). The story is gripping and extremely clever. I'd strongly recommend this to anyone that enjoys VNs.

A really enjoyable detective game. I liked how different parts of the explanations of the mysteries are gradually pieced together throughout your investigation. The game's uniqueness makes it memorable.

I enjoyed my playthrough of this game. Getting together a strong crew with good synergy, skills, implants, decks and gear is really enjoyable. Unfortunately, once your setup is sorted, the game loses a lot of it's fun. For me, that happened around the start of the third-to-last region, when I hit level 10 and crafted the bunch of gear I was after. From that point, I was winning most fights on the first turn of my first character, without any of the enemy even acting (including the final boss). Almost all combats then consisted of me playing the same 3-5 cards in the same order.

The story is fine - it's reasonably interesting and has some areas of originality. The gameplay is the main draw. It's engaging and fun.

I'd recommend this to anyone who likes card-based RPGs.

As other reviewers have commented, this is similar in design to KotOR and other Bioware games. It's definitely not perfect: there is far too much backtracking, particularly towards the end of the game. However, I enjoyed the experience and would recommend it to anyone that likes choice-based Action RPGs.

Both the VNs (999 and VLR) contained within this are excellent. The stories are among the most cleverly-crafted I have ever come across. Please don't read about these games before starting them - the less you know, the better.

The puzzle difficulty is hard enough to require careful thought, but not so hard that it necessitates looking up the answer (with the odd exception).

I would strongly recommend this to anyone who enjoys VNs with puzzle sections.

I really enjoyed this game. The gameplay and systems are very much in the vein of Ace Attorney. The main difference is that the investigation scenes involve 3D exploration. While it follows the same formula as AA, the individual cases and the overall story are completely original.

When I was going into the game, I was wondering whether the writing quality was going to be as a good as the Ace Attorney Trilogy. On reflection, I would say it is. The characters are interesting and well-defined, the plot is clever and carefully-planned and the storytelling is engaging.

I liked the sound design - it complemented each scene well. Each character had a theme - Daire's was particularly good.

One minor negative - in a few dialogues, there is an extra/wrong word. Everything is spelt correctly, but a little extra proof-reading would have caught these issues. It never obscured meaning, so it really is a tiny thing.

I would strongly recommend this game to anyone likes detective/courtroom games.
