i have 24 hours in this game and a total of 15 hours of actual saved game because of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crashes. game either needs an auto save system or a fix for the crashes. nothing worse than exploring a cave only for the game to die right as you arrive home to save meaning you have to do the whole thing over again.

My friends banned me from playing the Tyranids because i kept being hyper aggressive with the tile clearing and instead of clearing my surrounding area would scoot over to their bases and start stripping tiles in their expansions overall i'd say its aight.

honestly its just not fun anymore. i don't know how far in i am and at this point i don't really care. every battle is the same. Teleport in, get shot at while getting into melee because after the first 10 battles guns are useless. use cover but take damage anyway (reduced damage but like my dude is literally behind a pile of metal boxes but sure you can still just shoot his a**) get into melee and wipe everything out easily rinse and repeat.

the skill trees are randomised for higher level recruits so some recruits are godlike with great stats and other times you get a paladin with all his skills in guns because no you aren't allowed to have a good paladin with a shield give him a gun and do half the damage of a guy who can melee.

the customisation is fun even with the fairly limited selection of stuff and the campaign itself is fine nothing amazing but enjoyable overall.

TLDR: Overall i'd say its a fun game with lots of fun mechanics but also lots of things that just make me want to stop playing, the combat is repetitive with lots of time trying to get that single square where you wont spot the enemy so you can get into melee without taking lots of damage because cover is basically pointless and guns just don't do enough damage for the low ammo and range mechanics.

i'd say buy it but only when mods that either make cover more useful or guns less awful are released.

Factorio can either be an absolute dream of efficiency of a nightmarish hell of belts and items. both systems work and both systems have their flaws. overall i very much enjoy this game and adding a friend or two can add a lot to the game.

played a bunch on battle.net before the move and a bunch after it released on steam. the latest expansion for the game is very enjoyable even if it leaves us to make theories about what will happen next. also the eververse still sucks...

This game plays very differently to the base game as if you get 3-4 friends together you can each pick a character that supports the others and either have a good challenge or breeze through the days

i play this game mostly with the various starwars and other mods all of which are very well made and i would highly recommend this game just for those mods alone.

defo worth the time played the best rpg i have ever played the story is nothing like i have ever seen the characters have deep rich back storys and the gameplay i only matched by games such as skyrim or fallout 4 a great game and worth every penny my m8 spent trolling me with this ♥♥♥♥ XD

Lost planet one was a great game even with its problems. lost planet 2 while mildly less fun due to the focus on coop was also a good game where as this game is a total disaster. the mechs that made the first two games so much fun have been completley locked off to multiplayer only and replaced with one big mech, which while fun at first gets boring very fast. The game consits of 90% walking and not much else the characters are dull and i didn't care if they lived or died. I felt completley detatched from the main characters story and was just hoping to get to the good part, which never came the game is a lot like destiny one with extremley repetative missions and not much else in terms of fun. Overall i would much rather have re-bought the first game and had fun actually feeling like i'm doing something. 4/10 (the visuals are good which is why its a 4 and not a 2)
