So if you like survival, especially with friends, then you will love this game. It's a fun concept, you get to build up and advance to great levels of technology, tame dinosaurs, and fight boss dinosaurs. You can choose to challenge yourself in the big league known as official servers, or just settle with unofficial. However, if you play official servers, all these concepts are very easily whittled down to garbage. For all the time it takes to build and tame, is all VERY easily destroyed by people who have played WAY before you. Yes it's true that you could try playing PvE and other types of servers (such as small tribes or ARKpocalypse) that can easily fix this problem but, keep in mind this is what new players are introduced to and it doesn't end there. If it wasn't that one Alpha tribe flexing on you with their tek and millions of mutated blood lines, it's the glitches. My friend and I play official on Genesis (whole mess of bugs and glitches) and we ended up losing most of our things to, you guessed it, bugs and glitches.

Although the GM's promised restores from these bugs and glitches, that is a blatant lie. We lost a tamed 150 bloodstalker to "anti-meshing" on Genesis and lost cryopoded tames on my body on Valguero that were also destroyed by "anti-meshing" I love it. The GM's don't even respect your tickets with a genuine response, it's literally just an automated message saying they know how it feels and "I am working to change the policy soon." sob story. I also recommend to NOT buy Genesis, you will pay $35 for a beta test run of a map filled with missions that either take up build space or just don't work as intended *cough* bog beatdown. Yeah the other part didn't come out but every DLC is $10 each on sale, you are paying $5 extra for two maps.
