Expect this to be a walking simulator and not a traditional third-person shooter, and you will have a blast. One of the most unique and original stories I've ever got to witness.

A cautious recommendation. So-So story which only appeals to major LOTR followers and fans. Riding mechanics seem a little bit choppy. Other than that, the game is a solid entry to the LOTR game universe, probably being the best LOTR video game to date. A great blend of Assassin's Creed and Batman Arkham, giving an excellent, responsive, and badass combat system. Nemesis system is a revolutionary mechanic that makes this game stand out. Two medium-sized open world areas, filled with stuff to do and orcs to slay. Plenty of fun.
